We won a game we should win, and didn't collapse like we did last year. Would have been happier if it finished 5-1 but for a first game still missing Dehaan and visnovsky, that's not bad. With those too back we may see Strait waived. Hope they come back soon.

First game played with this lineup so essentially very raw team but encouraging start. nice line combos and JT mentioned Kulemin I think on the wing. K looks like a solid athlete.

I'm not too concerned with the two late goals. The key for me was how they responded when it was 3-1, not what happened late when it was 5-1.

Just to be clear. Ecstatic about winning. The last 2 goals were just window dressing, that's what sucked about it. 5-1 had a nice ring to it.

i don't really have any hate for the isles. i was just a little guy and didn't know what hockey was in 1980 so i don't really have anything against them.

i hate the rangers, devils, pens, and for some reason i don't really like the leafs.

Great game!! Sat next to a former NHL player... was told LOTS of stuff... none we really want to hear.. lets just say... not only did his Son not look happy when we drafted him.. but not happy that he's gonna be sent back to BP when Vis or DeHann come back.
