it will be interesting to see if those two goals will be a springboard for their offensive confidence. it was a typical tentative first period until that power play. The ice is now broken hopefully they come out aggressive. |

You guys are looking good. Halak made a big save midway through the first too. Bailey is a (frank)in traffic cone out there though. |

I have a feeling that Grabovski-Nelson-Strome line is going to be a good one. Wheels and skill with size in the middle. Good combos |

Brassard is about two years older than Bailey and a similar if not better version of Bailey but he had similar numbers to Bailey at similar stages of his career. I'd like to see Bailey develop and stick because you need different type of skaters. |

its not even his stats that I'm disgusted with, it's his lack of effort. |

Agreed..this is his last shot, to be a defense-oriented right wing. He has always been tentative and lost, especially WITH the puck. As I've said many times, I think he's just dumb...sorry...it is what it is.
That said, in other news...I'm much happier to see Tavares standing around waiting for four guys to show up in the offensive zone than I would be to see Halak standing around waiting for people to show up...good start, so far... |

Coyotes announce Andrew Barroway becomes majority owner with 51% stake.
Best job in hockey?
I bet he's going to take the Coyotes to same places the Islanders hang out and keep looking over to see if they're jealous. |

One difference- Brassard's equipment probably stinks when the game is over....Bailey's smells like no one used it....like it is still hanging in the locker..... |

So goes the life of a player who never seems to face consequences. Grabner makes a mistake and Cappy scratches him. Bailey makes three a night and never misses a shift |
