I don't think this will be like most seasons where a team can "Kings it in"
I think the points in October are going to be as hard to get as points in April and they all count . Teams that start off slow might be in too deep of a hole to get out of it this year .

Maybe Carcillo was liked in the room before so that's one reason why Stan let him come back again.

Still definitely not a good enough reason to have him on the team (especially with him playing every night in place of Steeg).

for sure...hopefully we're still laughing 100 games from now

I was happy to see that Paul Swindlehurst, the 21 yr-old d-man from England who played up in Scotland last year, is with the organisation still and signed with the Indy Fuel.

It's always good to root for GB kids who try to make some headway over in the US. I hope Paul can work his way up at least the AHL in the future.

no one wants to admit that Q ran leddy out of town. was likely given a choice by stanley: we can ship off Rozsival or we can ship off Leddy. which one do you want? we all know Q goes with his grizzled and over-the-hill veterans.

huge blunder. rozy hurt already and season isn't even begun. between injuries and his "rest" games, maybe he plays in 25 or 30. i'm thinking maybe 1/3 of them this season. we'll see how the prediction rolls out over the course of this season.

Bickell looked like he was skating faster and getting more physical in the third while riding with Toews and Kane.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Bickell/Toews/Kane line again for a few games. Also, I thought that the line of Sharp/Richards/Hossa looked alright too. I wouldn't mind seeing that line together for a couple of games.

I can tell you for a fact the Hawks players were pissed when they had to part with Eager in 2010. The more skilled players like having that edge in the lineup and it's a bonus if the player can play a little like Eager/Carcillo as opposed to John Scott.

If anyone's ever played the game and was smaller (like myself) there was nothing better than having the comradarie of your big and tough mates behind you to have your back.
