5-0 Minny over Col. last few minutes of the second.

Wow, was just 3-0 when I looked a bit ago and saw Pominville with 1+1.

Looks like only a handful of my guys are showing any stats for tonight.

I have Bergeron, Giordano, and Hedman all not updated and all have some goals/assists plus Stamkos and Gudas with some yet to be seen points.

I want to see how much I'm beating my opponent by right now.

Dreger on Tyler Myers:

"Tyler Myers of the Buffalo Sabres. His name is out there now. The Sabres are downplaying it, but reality sucks sometimes and the reality for the Sabres is they're going to be real bad this year. So why not improve your chances in the draft. Detroit believed to be interested. They've had talks with the Red Wings about trade. Perhaps Anaheim as well."

McKenzie on other trade talk:

"Teams are looking at Chris Stewart, Drew Stafford. Tim Murray, the general manager in Buffalo, might want to parlay one of those guys who is going to be unrestricted into a young prospect. Travis Moen from Montreal Canadiens, his name is out there. Eric Brewer from the Tampa Bay Lightning. Healthy scratch in their opener. He's also out there."

The Sabres have 10 D on the roster now, some on injured reserve, and if Murray really likes McCabe and wants to play Pysyk when he's healthy a defenseman might have to be traded. Does Pysyk have to clear waivers before going to Rochester? If so, he is obviously not being sent down. I don't know with Myers' name supposedly out there in the trade market only months after Murray was hired that tells me he's not real high on him and will be gone sooner than later.

Glad I noticed earlier today that AJ Green is gonna be out this week. I threw Trent Richardson in my flex spot. 36 yards and a TD so far tonight

I believe he can go down this year without having to clear. Capgeek had the waiver rules for each player on the site the other day, but now it's missing.

Gotcha, I personally think Pysyk is beyond the AHL now except for maybe going down to get back in shape.

Yeah, that usually is the case. Not to mention Myers has a NTC that kicks in in 2016 and I wonder if Murray does not want to have his hands tied with that contract.

If it was up to me, I'd send McCabe down for a bit before I'd send Pysyk down. He's paid his dues. McCabe looked good in preseason, but the regular season is a different animal. I think some time in the A would be good for him.

Oh I would too, maybe until January or something but I think he's pretty close to being a regular NHL Dman.

I think McCabe would be fine in the NHL. I just think that there's still room for him to learn in Rochester, and there's very few spots available here without having to expose someone else to waivers. Might as well send down a guy that you can move freely.

I'd like to see what he does this year before I say that they should have done that. Okposo has had his ups and downs just like Stafford.

Yes he has, but Okposo is like Stewart but better, does it all. Bangs, scores, fights if needed. He's better than Staff just like Jack Daniels is better than Evan Williams

They looked completely disorganized, which I somewhat expected, but i didnt see the totally out worked part coming.

Much of that game was poorly played by both teams. It was pretty boring for long stretches. Columbus finally seemed to figure out that they were supposed to be playing a game though in the 3rd period.

Anyone else remember that Girgensons had the lone goal in the opener last year too?
