This is why I hate fantasy leagues. You should never let make believe computer stats affect how you feel about your favorite team's rivals.
- jmatchett383

True, but there is a level of respect you can have for individual players...Hated Jagr when he was on the Pens, loved him as a Flyer, Don't want to see him with the Devils...that being said, I have always respected his play and how he plays the game, regardless where he played...Same with Brodeur, hate that guy hoped he gave up 10 every game against the Flyers...but still respect his game...I think Fantasy does this...it allows you to look at individual players outside of your hatred of rivals...

Respect is one thing, hoping they perform well against your team, or rooting for a team you don't like to do well in general because you have one of their stars on "your team" is the issue I have. Also, I don't have any respect for Uncle Daddy Sister (frank)er.

That's pretty sick looks like a game I would be into. I usually only buy NHL and the odd time might rent UFC if I have binged hockey to much but other then that I like a good medieval games

The effort was there for the Flyers, unfortunately, the execution was lacking.

Mason was real solid, outstanding really. He wasn't to blame for either Bruins goal and made quite a few tough stops.

The fourth line was very good. Rinaldo's first penalty was dumb, but he atoned with a pretty strong game.

The No Corsi For Old Men line looked good early, kind of evened out later. Lecavalier and Umberger looked more solid than Raffl, who seemed to repeat his pre-season mistake of trying to do too much with the puck.

The Couturier Line was solid for the most part, but the Giroux line got worked over. Giroux still looks rusty and Brayden Schenn didn't have a good game. He had an offensive zone turnover and lazy back check that led to the game winner.

I thought the MDZ-Schenn pair was good for most of the night, while Streit and Grossmann had some minor issues. Coburn-MacDonald seemed to struggle

They just seemed out of sync especially in the Bruins' end. They couldn't sustain zone pressure or possession and it was usually something dumb-a wayward pass or turning the wrong way-that seemed to get them in trouble. The new found emphasis on carrying the puck in was evident.

By and large it was an encouraging night, Mason really deserved a better fate, but they stumbled and lost at least a point. Hopefully it won't loom large.

The LTIR rule is perfect, don't forget. Also, making exceptions to a rule = changing it.

I agree except I don't think they'll win a game this year.

I highly recommend it, but I'll warn you: it's super duper hard.

I hear the new Lord of the Rings game is good too.

Did you see any gameplay from Shadow of Mordor? The climbing physics are identical to Assassin's Creed's. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Only one I thought was lower was the Breakouts, I thought they were a D-, now if you are giving some thought that it was the first game of the season and it was against the Bruins who have very active sticks ok, but they had to many first passes picked off or deflected...similar to the start of last season...
Other than that I think that is a pretty fair grading...

I liked the gap control for the most part. I hope they can keep it up.

I forget who tried the stretch pass early on in the game, but naturally it failed (left to right, top of the D circle to offensive blue line). That was the only attempt, I think.

A lot of strategy ? I will have to check it out for sure and I am not the biggest Lord of the Rings fan but when I saw the commercial I actually thought it looked pretty epic lol

I hear tons of assets were pretty much copied wholesale from AC. Doesn't bother me if the game's good, but the developer is trying really hard to convince people that's not what happened.

I hear the LotR game feels a lot more like the Batman Arkham games though, fwiw.

Going to see Ghost and company on saturday in Wilkes-Barre. Exciting to go to a Phantoms game now. Last time I was bothered to see them in Wilkes-Barre, I think Nolan Baumgartner scored in a 1-0 Phantoms win.

I'm hoping to see something more exciting than that one

Those games are even better than AC. I will eventually get SoM but I'm gonna wait for the price to drop. I'm nervous to pay the whole $60. I already bought NHL 15 pre-order for $70 and all I do is play HUT since everything else is weak. I want a good fantasy RPG for the PS4 though.
