At least he doesn't have the character issues Giroux has. I don't know how he can lead a team after killing that cop.

No need to worry, the NHL is bringing in John Rocker, Ray Rice and Tiger Woods to teach sensitivity training. All is well.

Question for Bill if he's around...

Based on what you have seen at practice, who will be other two shooters if the Flyers get in a shootout tonight?

Unfortunately, Giroux is the only guy on the team we can count on for a 40% success rate.

I'd go Giroux, VLC, Voracek. If the shootout requires more shooters – Read, Akeson & Schenn, maybe even try Umberger.

Based on last year, I would guess Read, Simmonds or VL would be the guys to get the call.

I'm hoping one of the new guys has looked good in the practice shootouts. These are some grim numbers. Read is still at 40% but was only 1/6 last season.

Killing the cop wasn't all that bad, but having anal sex with the carcass? Come on Claude, I expect better of you.

And all these things are why certain people question his leadership.

Well, that, and the fact that his vertical leap is a paltry 26 inches, compared to Downie's 65.

Well, I think I know where Jake will be when the Flyers go to Pittsburgh.

For sure, and that he was only 4 for 21 in faceoffs last night. (NOT an exaggeration!!!)

Well, he's not exactly Joel Otto, and Bergeron is.

Only 2 for 12 against Bergeron. He got owned by Kelly(1-4), Spooner(0-2), and Cunningham(1-3) too. Just an overall horrible night for the Captain.

Thank you Bill, you spoil us. I thought it would be easier to just ask someone instead of looking it up. It's so hard to look stuff up sometimes.

Dear Lord, if anybody thinks Braydon Coburn gets the knife a lot, try being Dion Phaneuf

That guy can't do anything right -- he's -1 in a game where the Leafs gave up four ES goals, yet plays the most minutes out of anyone on the Leafs, plays on the PP and PK...yet "he didn't do enough" and he wasn't "a $7 million player."

That guy needs to get out of there

Oh, yeah: The goal Phaneuf was out for was the first goal. Not the second, or even the third or the GWG. The first one.
