Have u ever been vomiting on?
- joshs

A) Yes
B) I used to work at the stadium. It happens more than you think.

Like you said. I go to tailgates and have a couple drinks and throw a ball around. I haev no problem with that. Its the go so far where you pass out, or get "Beer muscles".

This whole debate goes back to the same thing as the stadium location. If you appease one group, you alienate another. There is never going to be an option that the entire mass will agree on.

It is what it is.

First game vs Miami the guy sitting next to me was drunk and passed out for a majority of the game. Didnt bother me at all, me and my buddy just laughed at him and kept watching the game. His head hit my shoulder a few times and I just shoved him off.

Beer spilling is going to happen, especially when you have so many people constantly jumping up and moving around with beers in hand.

- Rally_Shots

thats like your opinion, man

on a serious note like nf and b19 said everyone has a different tolerance level. Mine happens to go up when i drink

People do dumb things. Smart people protect themselves and learn from past experiences. Others demand that dumb people stop being dumb. I wonder which 1 will work out....

I actually have a pretty high tolerance level. Like I said, don't throw up on me and don't keep touching me. Bumping into someone once or twice is one thing.

My point is, if I had to choose a crowd to hand with, I'll choose the guys who can afford a beer in the stadium rather than the 30 pack Natty Ice crew.

Also I think if the team hadn't sucked for 15 years the culture at the games might be a little better.

I never said I was offended. I just said that it's not much fun when someone else, especially someone you don't know, throws up on you at one of these events.

There's only so much someone can do to "proctet themselves" as you put it. I shouldn't have to spend twice as much to sit in a seat (which isn't necessarily that much closer to the stage) just to keep some drunk idiot from ruining my evening. There's plenty of drunk people in the seats. And why should I have to limit myself to less events just to try and avoid the drunks?

Here's the thing, I have Sabres seasons in the 300 level. I could just as easily give up my seaons and spend the same amount that I do on tickets to sit in the 100 level by buying single games, but I'd rather get to go to 20 games than only get to go to 3 or 4.

It's not sabres games. their a difference in my book with sabres games. 1 it's indoors. 2. 82 games a season, if ur unlucky. 3. Watching on TV is less enjoyable to seeing live bcz so much happens away from the puck/focal point of attention. 4. It's only 18,000 or so people. 5. It's expensive, so most drunks can't afford it.

I did it for one year and found out it was not for me. It was great being paid to watch Bills games.

I was the cool guy though. As long as you were not a complete arse you were fine. Ala discussed above you were fine.

im going to play devils advocate here, are the ones that can afford to buy a beer generally more timid? i think so. Think about this what if the sabres arena was filled full of people who bought 200 level tickets every game. It takes away from the home ice/ home field advantage if you ask me.

I just hate how this is said yet If it happens it extremely rare. Wgr says it all the time yet neither one of them have been puked on at a game either.

I was just using that as an example of buying certain tickets. It's obviously a much different atmosphere.

But the same idea applies with concerts. I can either go to 1 concert and sit in the seats (to avoid drunk people according to you) or I can go to 3 by purchasing a lawn ticket.

Not true. See Patriots, Giants/Jets games. INSANELY more expensive than Bills games. True football atmosphere.

A friend of mine got thrown up on at the home opener. So, yes, it happens. My roommate's ex-boyfriend threw up in the hallway a few years ago because she was smart enough to get him away from people when she knew he was over the edge. And trust me, she was not happy. But his idea of fun is going to places like that and being the blackout drunk, obnoxious guy that very few actually want to be around.

Look at what happened to the aud/hsbc/fn center. Place use to be rocking, for more than just goals and hits, and they kept raising the prices and now it's like a morge.

The prices are toward the bottom of the league. If they didn't charge what they currently do, they wouldn't qualify for revenue sharing. Make sure you know the facts before you start making assumptions.

The reason the FNC is so much more quiet, is because the team has been garbage over the last 3 years. That and they've tried to instill a more family friendly environment. Though really the main cause is that the team is not good.
