it's just magical watching the sharks pass sometimes
they're dominating the kings right now

I give the Kings credit for coming back and winning that series, but I'm still amazed that the Sharks gave it up

They were KILLING the Kings. Just killing them. I was watching those games, and to this day I am amazed the Kings got one game off the team I was watching, let alone four straight

Absolutely -- I remember after Game 3 thinking that Mike Richards looked so slow, it was painful to watch him skate

God bless 'em, because they did something I truly did not think they could do

They put up the most crooked offensive numbers. Boatloads of skill on that team.

Disagree completely that they did not look good for much of the game. Overall they played a solid game.
- MJL

i watched the bruins throw the puck around with ease all over the ice and generate chances from the blueline and off the rush. i watched the flyers passes miss the mark or get fumbled away much like i was used to seeing. they gave up two or three odd-man chance on their first powerplay alone!! and there just has to be that sequence in every game where they just CANNOT clear the puck for like 8 consecutive minutes

Overall, it was "one of those games"

Few unlucky bounces, and went 0-3 on the PP. They played better as the game went on...kept moving their feet and supporting the puck. The had some issues getting out of their zone though and at times would go a few too many shifts without generating any sustained offensive zone presence. Bellemare was a sight to see. The 4th line as a whole was flying, and I can't really remember when our coach could roll 4 lines set it and forget it style like this. It'll be nice.

The Vinny unit put in a good night's work too. Coots' line was good, and used more offensively than defensively, which I like. G's line was so-so. They weren't a problem, but they weren't a "first line" threat, mostly due to the fact that G was still rusty and they had to see Bergeron and Chara all night. He got #rekt in the faceoff circle against Bergeron.

Again, overall, they played well. Mase was great. He is legit.

If they play like this every night, they win most games. If their powerplay is effective and they play like this every night, they'll finish top 3 in the conference.

The GWG came with about 2 minutes left. Bruin shot from the point, stick exploded, it fluttered in, handcuffed Mase about head high while in the butterfly...he kind of stabbed at it...knocked it down, it bounces around and rolls to a Bruin near the crease who tapped it in He deserved better.

They played well, but still could be better, and I do think they'll get better once things come together. Really pumped about Akeson-PEB-Rinaldo though!!

Bettman is totally cool with Pronger retiring to take the job with the Dept of Player Safety

http://bigstory.ap.org/ar...r-getting-shot-safety-job

"Chris' case is unique," Bettman said. "There are salary cap reasons why he couldn't officially retire, but ... if in fact we go that route, I'm not sure that presents any problem at all to deal with. He's done playing. He gets paid no matter what from the Flyers. He doesn't owe them anything."
