maybe he was going 5 hole, or maybe he was aiming for a top corner
- bird_dog_pa

Yeah I mean the Schenn 2-on-1 chance was a bit of a let down but not the end of the world. Shot on goal from in close. Be nice if a 1st line winger can pick corners from there though. First game. Rust is shaking.

Hmm
Step 1-Rinaldo runs Chara
Step 2-Chara kills Rinaldo
Step 3- Dumb penalty problem solved!

That would be a sight for sure

Don't agree with you. Krug cross checked Rinaldo several times, that is a penalty, and a little push to the face isn't unless the person doing it is named Rinaldo
- flyerscup2011

Krug did not cross check Rinaldo. They were pushing back and forth.

That seemed like interference just before that 2 on 1

I think you're better off arguing that McQuaid knocking Zac down after the first big hit of the game was more a penalty, and that it probably wasn't a typical retaliatory penalty called because it was against Rinaldo.

While Rinaldo certainly isn't the most smart guy on the ice, there's a clear double standard in play with him. But it is what it is... the Flyers can't change it. They should just play Blair Jones instead

Damn Chara & Hamilton still stuck out there since the opening puck drop of period 2. Great start for the Flyers - forced them to burn their TO.

Geez Raffl is a lickle rusty. He keeps forcing the play and making passes to Bruins or covered Flyers.
