Thank god for that line, cause I haven't cared for any of the others tonight.

I thought Stempniak had a solid game, I might try him with Brass and Zucc, he was one of a few Rangers that closed the gaps rather quickly

Yeah he had a good game, actually not a bad idea. Brassard Zucc and Hagelin just dont see it working, they are all similar in they look for the pass 1st.

Thats a nice way to start the season, but leaves a lot to be desired. Take the 2pts, on to Columbus.

Start of the season is sloppy for every team, this team is gonna take a while to iron out, hope Boyle didn't break his hand

Apparently hit in the arm with a slap shot. I haven't heard anything.

damn. he looked good tonight. I was watching on mute which is why I asked. That would be a huge loss if he's injured. Extra dmen don't look promising.

Yeah, I thought he looked real good too. Hopefully just a bruise or something. The fact that he left and didnt come back makes me wonder.

@AGrossRecord: Dan Boyle broke his hand blocking a shot. Out 4-6 weeks.

poop that (frank)in blows donkey Richard. After tonight looking like a great start to our season against a good Blues team, we have to add the Boyle injury on top of Stepan's....(frank)in poop

On the bright side, at least they are happening now and not in April. Boyle will miss 14-17 games or so, but will be around for the last 60

Actually I agree. I'd think the org. Want to see what Hunwick nd Allen have in major minutes in the minors, or at this point it's break or bust for McI. Looked 10X better than last preseason. At this point as fans I think we need a yes or no on McI.

10th overall pick that everyone questioned. At this point we deserve to know if the organization considers this kid a career AHLer, or if he can make an impact on the big club, which at this point he should be able to.

It is a hand injury. If it was a leg or a head injury I would be more worried probably.

I would lean towards that. I would like to see Allen, only problem he's a lefty. Unfortunately, I think we'll see Kostka.

True if AV stays faithful with the lefty-righty combo, the only possibilities are Kostka or McI.

I like allen in the short term. I don't think mcl is ready yet but I think he's close. I wish we signed diaz for 700k instead of kostka or hundwick

that was a great win especially considering the competition, was almost like a playoff game.

Crappy news to wake up to about Boyle. See, this is why you don't trade Kevin Klein.

Well, we go into Columbus to face a team ravaged by injuries themselves.

Great win though, Nash and Kreider look insane
