Grigo was put in a position last year where he was coupled with 4th liners and could not play to his strengths as a top 6 playmaker/scorer. I hope, given the way Grigo has fulfilled his end of the "work hard and you'll earn playing time" mantra, that Reinhart is only up for 9 games and Grigo will take that 2C spot in a short while.

If they leave him in Roch, and keep Reinhart here - THAT will put him in the same mind-bending "we're just being coy with you" position that he was in last year.

I didnt mean to say Reinhart will stay only put if because who knows what will happen this is the NHL. If I were to have Grigo in buffalo I wouldn't have sent him down in the first place and if he does get called up when Reinhart gets sent to juniors, it was a bad move to send Grigo down

Numbers make it a point, so does not having to clear waivers. There is a point in sending him down for a month, in fact there are a few.

1.) Not having to clear waivers
2.) Give him top line minutes and top PP time
3.) Lets Murray evaluate where Reinhart is who knows if he decides to keep him it also gives Murray time to make a move or two to make a spot for Girgorenko if he is tearing apart the AHL.

Those are just off the top of my head. They didn't send him down for the hell of it. They have reasons.

Well, when we get both McDavid and Eichel, and then package him in a deal to Pittsburgh for Crosby, nowhere.

Really depends on where/who we pick. pick high enough and land one of the top 3 or 4 centres and it could present a bit of a problem for him (though I think Hodgson would be 1st on the chopping block but im just guessing).

Otherwise if he continues improving he could work his way to the top six even if it is as a winger.

I remember Biron coming up mid season then going back . That is why I suggested he does not play a full 9 games . That way he has games left
