after the season ended i felt like had mason been healthy they would have pulled it out, but i've changed that thought over the course of the summer in thinking about how effective their fourth line was, and the flyers inability to score much at 5 on 5. i know they only lost by 1 lousy goal in game 7 on the road...but i think the rangers would have won.

the flyers weren't getting to the final with that team anyway...and it just made it all the sweeter to see csp on his face losing in 5 games.

What I would like to know, is what is the dynamic if that is the proper word, for a team in a game 7, to come out and basically stop playing and stop skating like they did in the 2nd period of game 7. I can't even come up with a theory on it. It's unfathomable to think that could happen like it did. No way it should happen. Being outplayed b a better team is one thing, and the Rangers were the better team. But the Flyers laid down in the 2nd period.

That's a tremendous album.

With the flyers projected lines currently,
I don't see Couts getting a break from playing the heavy defensive matchup and zone starts.

The 4th line does not look like it can go against other teams top lines.
Not sure about putting VL's line either against the top guys, although his wingers are both pretty good 2way guys.

I think Cout's role is going to be much the same as it was last year.
