I think when they saw they had to trade the barn and half the cows plus 20 chickens for pronger, then what impact he had followed by his abrupt departure a serious wake up call hit the organization.

Didn't trade picks for guys like Kubina for a couple years

Bill -- seems like we should be moving a defenseman this season, hopefully for some draft picks. Who do you see as the most viable candidate for a trade? Grossman? Schenn? someone else?

I would like to see one of grossmann or schenn moved for a pick... then again you never know what injuries will look like this season and it may turn out we really need these guys.

Whew, problem solved.

Travis Sanheim hit the ground running. Two more assists tonight along with 6 SOG. 3G, 4A in 5 games for the Hitmen. From all accounts he's as poised and polished as a teenager could be. I'm really excited for this kid. Fellow 2014 Flyers pick Radel Fazleev scored his first goal of the season, as well.
