Listen you know my opinion on bailey but lets not make it sound like hes some excellent defensive fwd bcs its not true. The kid has been invisible at times on both sides of the puck. Hes got to wake up and start putting an effort in. If he doesnt im all for him being in a trade as an add on. If he succeeds somewhere else than so be it.

This is his make or break year. If the kid put in a effort there wouldnt be so many people bashing him. When he glides around out there and stays out if the play its hard to like his game. In case it's not apparant, my remarks are heavily laced with sarcasim- I dont literally mean everything. That's not to say that I dont hate cappy & garth but there are plenty on this site who see the same things I see and feel the same as well.
Tho, I hate to have to admit I see another season of hovering around .500 or slighty above(points-wise) which is considered a winning season in one aspect but a failure in all others.

I'd offer Bailey & Lee for Leddy and Hawks 1st pick 2015. That's overpayment but I see Lee as odd man out. Isles would also have eat Bailey's entire contract THIS YEAR ONLY to give Hawks the cap relief they need. It's the only way I see getting rid of Bailey with a return. It brings a young NHL DMan to our backline, opens up space and gets us a late 1st rounder back. With Wang about to recoup most if not all of what he's lost on the team, the money shouldn't be the issue. You can more easily acquire a big bodied forward than more skilled players like Strome or Nelson. Isles are too high on Frans to offer him so who else could we really part with that has value? Hawks just cut Regin, so the numbers work. I don't like it but I didn't create the problem. This is a viable solution, that is if the Hawks are willing.

Grabo & Kulemin signings make it tough for anyone other than Nelson & Strome to make the team. Lee is ALSO listed as a Center, which makes him the 8th center on the roster with only 4 spots available.
