Yes bailey would get claimed. 3MM a year is not expensive for a 25 yr old that still have tons of upside.

Best way to get a good dman is to trade Lee or Grabner. thats only way you can get one.

I think it's more than just getting a good d-man in there. There's no positioning or structure, both on the PK and even strength, and both last year and so far in the games I've seen in preseason. Other teams are pretty much able to make cross-ice passes through the zone at will, which then gets everyone scrambling around and leads to...well...that "you're doing it wrong" defense picture.

I didnt watch the game thankfully from what im hearing but it sounds like a take off from the last bruins game which we had no buisness winning. Defense skating in circles, crap pk, bruins with lopsided zone time. Sounds great. Sounds like last year. Youll be hapoy to know this is who is coaching our farm team. Great news. Preseason or not if fans arent a little alarmed by this id say use one of your free hands to pull your head out of your arse. Good to hear nelson is ok. Lets hope it stays that way. Ive seen these hes fine tweets from staple bfr after someone posts them only to hear the player is out indefinitely with an upper body injury a day later.

Im getting the feeling we will bear witness to that soon enough. What will be the excuse then? I can hear the injury one coming around one more time. Im really starting to lose my anticipation for this season. Looks like the same olde shat from where im sitting. I know its not going to be our "regular" line up etc, etc, but when you see the same exact issues it doesnt bode well.

Nelson's on a mission after that hit.

Sure...put him back out there in this meaningful game. Double shift JT & KO as well down 5-1. F'in morons no matter who's behind the bench.

Ho Sang's one of the forwards who've impressed, along with Strome and Nelson. Defense is unimpressive, except Brennan on the power play. I'm glad I watched because it's tempered my enthusiasm.

Bailey better not be on the roster instead of Strome.

How can you get this fired up over a game where just about the whole team was AHL bound besides JT-KO-Brock It was like watching a team scrimmage. Trust me you can't take anything out of this game except that when he gets bigger and stronger in a couple of year Ho-Sang is going to be filthy!!! He looks like he could be something special down the road.

Strome was good early on...I thought he wasted his opportunity with KO and JT and tailed off from there on, but he did play last night in a game that went to the shootout, so that's understandable.
