I thought that if he gets waived and picked up the team picking him up is only on the hook for 1/2 his salary, and the isles get the other half? $1.6M per for four years, someone may take a flyer on him.

reentry waivers are gone now so anyone claiming someone eats the whole salary. I can see someone possibly like calgary taking a chance on bailey, but it would definitely be a bottom feeder with plenty of cap space

Bailey needs a lot of top line minutes to get his mo jo up, so I think he should go to BRI.

Nelson definitely second line material, if not the center on that line.

McDonald should be Bailey's wing at BRI.

I have to think you can get something for him....I think the reason he's still here is because that something wasn't enough for Snow's liking...probably a 5th-7th round pick, or something like that.

There is no way any team is going to commit to paying Josh Bailey $13.2 million over the next 4 years on a waiver wire whim. NHL salaries may have gotten crazy, but they aren't that crazy.

No. Josh Bailey is a talented hockey player who could still have a solid NHL career, but at 4 years/13.2 mil in a salary cap league, he is literally worth less than nothing as an asset at this moment.

Maybe Snow and Cappy will tell Bailey not to bother getting on the ferry back to LI after the game...

Dont bother asking to see the score or the clock graphics. We must have spent too much $$$ on 2 goalies & 2 forwrads

It's the arena feed...just wait until the pie eating contest where you'll get a way-too-close look at half-chewed food falling out of some kid's mouth...

Nothing really doing for the Isles so far. Bruins with great zone time.

The feed is excellent....when you don't have HockeyBuzz opened at the same time.
Hockeybuzz flashplayer video randomly broadcasts all sorts of things that screw with streaming video feed.

Bailey is not our issue. Defense is.

Yes bailey would get claimed. 3MM a year is not expensive for a 25 yr old that still have tons of upside.

Best way to get a good dman is to trade Lee or Grabner. thats only way you can get one.
