I'd like to see strome play well enough to send bailey to a healthy scratch. Not yet waived, but scratched |

Injuries have helped cappy not to make a tough decesion. I think that's a very good line up.
And 100% correct. Bailey better produce. If you guys think waiving him is smart than you should of been fine with nino trade too.
B/c 100% bailey would be picked up and then I would have to spend next 3 year listening how we let him go.
If you ask me, and we start to win out of the gate I would trade grabner as he has great trade value. Kumelin as fast as grabs.
I really hope viz is ready to play. We need a vet on blueline. |

I would be fine with anders going to Bridgeport. Strome needs to be with big club.
Also do anyone know if tonight's game is being broadcasted?

There is zero chance Josh Bailey gets claimed on waivers. He makes way too much and is signed for way too long for any team in their right mind to take him. The only way he leaves the Isles is if he is bought out or is traded for another player with a similarly bloated long-term contract (Lecavalier, Phaneuf, Semin, etc.). |

One has nothing to do with the other... Plus if Bailey gets claimed, its better off bc maybe the kid needs a fresh start bc in 5+yrs it hasn't worked here. Isles have too much F depth that are better than Bailey. Are you watching Bailey like most of us are???

Who cares, one more hurdle (BOG approval) and then we're sold.
Tick tock goes the Charles Wang Clock............ - eichiefs9
The sale was approved on Monday or tuesday.
It has only to be finalized (signed by all parties and Charles getting an 8 or 9-figure check). I hope the "two year transition" means that on the day after the Isles last game of 2015-16, L&M assume majority ownership & control.
I will be popping a bottle of bubbly. |

Stromer more versatile as he is a center who they easily shift to wing
He's also better all around, faster. I think he deserves to be up at the start regardless of injuries. Lines 2 & 3 are almost unavoidably have 2 center each. Unless Conacher makes the squad. Damn, they need to make a trade.

L&M should throw an open bar party at Barclays for season ticket holders at Barclays when they take over. We could all use(and deserve) the drink. |

Strome is also defensively sound from what I've seen. It's an aspect of his game I didn't know existed. They do need to make a trade. Somebody has got to go. It's going to sting a bit Bcs it's not going to be anyone we want to leave but if it's for the right player it'll be worth it. |

I don't mind having two centers on the top two lines, maybe we won't be as ridiculously bad on faceoffs as we were last year. I doubt they find a deal for Bailey that isn't a salary dump so I don't expect him to be moved. I think it's time but I don't believe they will do that. That said, I didn't believe they would actually buy out DiPietro. |

Defense is lousy just like last year...only hope Reinhart plays like a 1st rounder. Still think they make a trade...need Lee in the lineup and Bailey needs to go... |

Add Dehaan and Pulock and there’s at least a heck of a lot of potential on our back end. I would prefer to go with that than have carkner and martinek dressed at the same time like last year..yeeuck. |

Pullock hasn't skated since the game last Friday along with Viz and De Haan out, so Newsday mentions Reinhart as in the mix again.

Just curious, but how many years of underachieving does Bailey get before we're safe to waive him? Because were at five now... |

I thought that if he gets waived and picked up the team picking him up is only on the hook for 1/2 his salary, and the isles get the other half? $1.6M per for four years, someone may take a flyer on him. |
