Just because I thought Alan Quine would be a star is no reason to mock. |

There are better players for the top nine to replace Grabner than Colin McDonald. He's a fringe 4th liner bringing back memories of Richard Park, shouldn't make the team, period. - Isles_since_6
I liked mcdonald the lock out shortened season but thats an insult to park who was a very good defensive fwd. |

probably the same folks who swore Poulin would be our #1 goalie and told everyone to be patient after July 1 that Garth would trade for/acquire a LEGIT Top 4 defenseman before start of season.
This team is being painted into a corner by people paralyzed with fear of making a mistake, so their only real action is inaction.
Hope is not the answer to the teams' problems but it seems to be the mantra of our current management.

While park was a decent defensive forward, he was overused and had a role on the team longer than he should have. That was the comparison I was trying to make. He was a better player than colin mcdonald, I will agree on that. |

life is grey, not black and white.
People talking about liking Poulin (myself as one) never said he’d be our #1 goalie, only that we’d like to see him play late in the season behind a better defensive system than he had in the beginning, and for myself in particular that I liked his game better than Nilsson’s.
Regarding the top 4 defenseman, I don’t remember anyone saying we WOULD get one, but plenty of people including myself said we did WANT one.
These are distinctly different things and you need to stop exaggerating.

It wasn't only park with the islanders I was referring too though I liked him here. He was overused for sure but I'd love to have a Richard park on our third/fourth line instead of McDonald. With that said I know what you were doing there was a lame attempt at a joke on my part |

I didn't name names or have anyone particular in mind, I only said "probably."
If you want to raise your hand and defend yourself, well, then I guess my remark hit close to home.
I agree Poulin plays better than Nilsson but between the two of them, neither will likely make it to the NHL as a starter.
Life IS Black & White more often than people want to accept. As a wise green creature once said, "There is no try. There is only do or do not."
I think my analogy is spot on. We have a logjam of talent in the one area where we have been strongest. We have un-movable assets who continue take up space and payroll(from the team who cries poor) and let's face it...this team needs WAYYYYYY more than a "tweak" here and there on Defense & the PK. I'd love to be able to be more optimistic but nothing indicates things will improve, not to mention the distraction signings Grabo/Kulem & Conacher that are making it hard for the team to utilize the one reward you get for sucking—our top draft picks. |

None of this particular post is anything new or different than what most of us have been saying for months. Making it bold font doesn't make you special.

doubt there will be a stream for this game. only link that works is of NFL network, and i don't see where they'd be pulling it from unless someone hacks into the prudential center's jumbotron |
