Last I checked brennan wont be bumping lee or strome out of a roster spot being hes a defenseman. Itd be one of the awesome tri of either czucman, donovan, or carkner. - Cptmjl
Brennan not bumping Lee or Strome is little comfort to me Cpt. |

Exactly behind Clutterbuck & Martin in just about every category out there. So why is he even a thought on this team is beyond me - Vukota
I edited that post, too |

It's hard to not think about the Nino situation if Lee and Strome are sent down. I'm sure Lee and Strome are a lot more mature than Nino was. Still not hard to think the worst. - ses111
its real hard viewing it like that... if they are sent down they will get their shot later.

Well let the record state I didnt say that number one and number two looking at our current blue line depth and lack there of him taking the place of czuzcman, carkner, or donovan isnt goinf to upset some balance in the universe. As I said in otger posts ive seen him play three preseason games. Means next to nothin but as compared to what I saw from the others I mentioned id take him over them as of now. - Cptmjl
i agree with him over the donovan...i kinda put brennan on the same level as carkner because they are niche players. they are good at one thing and bad at others.
if it comes down to those four, my order is:
church
brennan (by a hair)
carkner
donovan
my comment was more directed at the thought of brennan being a 40+ guy on the PP1. just so many things are wrong with that scenario. |

He seems to have problems with that at times. If there were ever a waste of space it'd be him. Brings nothing imo. |

Nino for Clutterbuck will go down as one of worst deals in a long time. You'll see. It's a bad deal now just wait until Nino is scoring 30 goals a year. Vanek for Colberg or whatever the fack his name is another beauty. I have no faith in Snow when it comes to making trades as should nobody else - Vukota
I disagree....you watch a healthy Clutterbuck does this year. He got that nasty cut last year and never recouped Was the best player on the team last night. We have strome ,Hu-sung, Da-colle, maybe Anders lee, Brock nelson type nino player in our system . I guaranty you clutterbuck gets more points than Nino this year. I think he got an excellent return for a trade that was forced by a whinny player. Like i said if Vanek signs that trade would have been awesome. The deadline trade was for a rental player....what did you expect to get for Vanek. Look how that turned out for Montreal. Montreal gave up a Colberg(first rounder) and second pick for Vanek and he played like crap for them. |

I'm sure they are. If Lee or Strome have been lazy and doing very little than fine send them down. It just has to be tough on guys like Lee and Strome when you have such mishmash lineups during training camp to really impress. |

The Isles not inviting him to camp in 2013 was a ridiculous move given the season Nino was having in the AHL at the time. |
