Nielson, Strome, Grabner would be the equivalent of our second line last year, and close to the top line after JT and KO went down. The third line should be chipping in offensively more than most third lines around the league. I don't see why it wouldn't benefit strome to play on the third line and occasionally get 2nd pp minutes. If staple's guess is correct and colin mcdonald is on our third line, then what have we really gained from last year? We still have a fringe NHL 4th liner playing in the top 9 if that's the case. This hurts us and doesn't give us our best roster.

I think, and I'm hoping I misread his article, that he was saying that if Grabner has to start the season on the DL then McDonald would slot into his place.

No...for a few months all I wanted to do was discuss ISLANDERS hockey, you know, in these threads where one would assume ISLANDERS hockey would be discussed, and this guy (amongst other Rangers posters) would derail every thread and the mods never did a thing about it. So, yeah, I got turned off pretty quick and went to other venues to discuss the things I wanted to discuss.

im not here to defend the guy but if his name wasnt RangerDanger and instead was IslanderShmislander, you wouldnt take it so hard if he said grabner sucks.
