You said am i a closet blues fan for pointing out the facts. So i said no its because im not a non bias leaf fan that thinks bozak is worth 2 first rounders or something.
- jake24242

He never called you a closet blues fan I did. And a lot of leafs fans over value their players same with vancouver fans and edmonton fans but you seem the blatantly under value some leafs players. No one thinks Bozy is worth that. But he does have decent skill and atleast works hard defensively. I'd say he's a 1st line center but on the lower end.

No one on here has over valued Berglund we all agree they add a good prospect.

Try looking back dude in this thread and see the posts I responded to and how I responded to it.

Yes, I just picked something random to make my point that there are a ton of leaf fans that overvalue everything we have.

Oh look....another new butthurt laffs fan.

Kadri is a known diver and cheap shot artist. From his wjc's to the first few years in the NHL. He's done these things multiple times over and over.

Truth hurts I guess.

Don't look at his stats or watch videos of him. Just trust me

And we will take berglund for him.

Thanks

Kadri > Berglund
and it's not even close in terms of value, talent and potential. Get a clue.

But how does any of that bring down his trade value? ie. I want a guy who draws penalties over a guy who takes them. I want a guy who doesn't get hurt. So what exactly is your point? It's professional hockey, guess what, they're all bumholes.

Go back and check. I'm not the one touting Kadri for Berglund. If that is in fact the two then there would be more pieces. So you go get a clue.

Iggy never passes up a chance to diss the Leafs, their players and their fans. It's like a hobby to him. Whatever floats his boat.

Kadri didnt have a down season.
The 48 game season saw him riding some very high underlying stats.. the regression last season was expected. he is a 55-65 point player at this point

- senstroll

Which makes him a pretty good 2nd line center. If only he cleaned up his defensive game ... and if only we had a legit 1st line center.

Kadri probably doesn't even rank top 20 in terms of diving and cheap shots. He may be the Leafs most embellishing player, but so what, every team has those guys. Bringing up the wjc's to make a point about the NHL is amateurish.

ok, well I don't think we can afford to trade him for a 30-35 point player with a bigger contract.
- GardinerExpress

I dont see the reason to move him at all, unless someone just made you a stupid offer

And the City. But you know, that's what 45 year old men do obviously. Especially on the internet.

The Ice Girl situation was BS all around. It was sexist to have them traipsing around in skimpy outfits, but it was no better firing them all and replacing them with (fully clothed) men; that's just sexism of a different kind.

Two logical solutions present itself: either hire a mix of men and women, and dress them all in skimpy outfits, or hire a mix of men and women, and dress them all sensibly. One or the other, not "men in long sleeves and pants, women in basically lingerie."

I was at one of our preseason games, and the guys who were hired to clean the ice got booed nearly as badly as Gary Bettman. Once, to get the crowd's displeasure across? OK, not classy, but fair enough. Every time, though? The reaction was embarrassing. If the crowd was booing the firing of the girls in favor of men, that'd be one thing, but it was obvious that there were 10,000 people booing not getting to see cleavage. Wi-fi's free at the stadium, people. If you want that, use your damn phone and get over it.

In the past the Blues have let local kids do this. Then at one of the intermissions they get to scrimmage for like 5 mins. Granted not as fast as having the same people always do it but Im sure the kids got a kick out of it.

We have the scrimmage things, too, but they use children from the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation, and they're always far too small to do the cleaning job. It might be worthwhile for them to consider limiting the mites to one intermission, and using the other intermission for older children who are capable of serving in that role, if they want to avoid the controversy entirely. It's a hell of a lot harder to boo 10-year-olds for this than grown men (though, this being Philly, we'll probably manage.)
