Was like a surprise first or second round draft pick in a way. He has looked very good in the two preseason games I have seen, already playing a north American style game unlike say Mueller. Of course, preseason isn't worth anything or all that telling necessarily except for guys like Mueller, lol.

Adding him AND Stastny makes it unnecessary. Pick 3 centers from Stastny, Lehtera, Steen, Backes, Berglund and even potentially Schwartz. There is no need to pay up to trade to get Kadri. Our need is not at center.

The trade makes zero sense for either team really. Leafs need to gain a top 6 winger without giving one up. Maybe some combination of prospects or D for Oshie might make sense from a leafs stand point.

I think he is+10-20% on Sodeberg but most of that is due to Tarasenko. My goal for him is 55 points and is where I would set the preseason over/under (this all changes if the PP and Tarasenko time changes).

He really is further ahead of where I expected him to be in adjusting to the smaller ice surface. I must say that I have been pleasantly surprised and impressed even though it is just preseason. Lindstrom is also a lot better than I expected though I would love 10-15g and 25-30 assists from him.
