He will find his place in the NHL, just not with the Rangers. Seems like a good kid.
- mdw7413

Indeed, no issue with how he played this preseason it's just a numbers game and the Rangers simply have too much talent on the wings.

There's the contract to lose, he's a career AHLer especially in this organization

I hope someone else does pick him up, he deserves a chance at the show

we definitely need the size. He's like a replacement for Brian Boyle, with a little more offensive skill already and way more potential.

Hank had a little more offensive skill than Boyle.

He has the skating ability; could be a good third or fourth line checking winger for some team.

All joking aside, I would take Hayes potential 10 out of 10 times over Boyle.

Boyle was phenomenal on defense, would say one of the best in the league, but Hayes has so much to offer I think. I really like this signing so much more after seeing him play a couple games.

I don't think there is a forward in the league who I would be more comfortable as the one forward trying to kill off a 5 on 3 than Brian Boyle

To the surprise of few. Both need to play big minutes in Hartford to further their chances of being pros in the future.

Yep, the seventh defensemen fight is down to McIlrath, Kostka, Kampfer and Hunwick.

My money is on Hunwick making it.

Hagelin and Moore could be a top flight PK tandem.

Yup, and with more teams using the forward on the point on the PP, I could easily see Hagelin taking advantage of that.

Stemp has the shorty knack too, I like the ability to have offense in all situations

I completely forgot Zamorsky was still in camp

Yeah, I thought last year when AV had Nash killing penalties it worked out well. He played good and there were some prime scoring chances.
