Are we going to get +/- updates from games not watched now?

Is Ott the official whipping boy this year?

He has done nothing yet to change his status from last year where he gainfully earned the title.

ugh. won't let me rely to your comments or leave one of my own so I have to do this here...

I didn't say what I would do. I was just trying to predict what they will do.

I'd send Jaskin down to play prime minutes but, like you, I have never been that impressed. He seems like he has a third line ceiling potential and will have to work hard to be an effective style fourth line role player.

I agree with Blueman.

Jaskin hasn't been good enough in camp to put Porter on waivers. Fabbri would be the guy that puts Porter on waivers. And that probably won't happen, even though I would like to see it.

I'd play Cole too (though likely over lindbohm) but I think Hitch will give the nod to the veteran Leopold over Cole. I also think they keep Lindbohm experiment going to see exactly what they have and how far he can keep improving.

At least we will know soon. 5.5 hours before cuts are due.

Per Jeremy Rutherford - "based on practice, you'd have to believe Fabrri is one of final three cuts. Other two will come from Lindbohm/Butler, Jaskin/Porter"

Also, Mueller going back to Europe.

I saw that about Mueller. I have to say, I was extremely disappointed in him. I thought he could be a good player and possibly push for a roster spot.

He didn't even remotely look close to taking a spot. Not really upset that he is bolting for Europe after watching him this preseason.

Yep. In my mind, he had zero shot of being called back up and if he did, it meant we had really significant injuries and a lot of them.

Lindbolm is going to Chicago. I was hoping he would start the year with the Blues, but extremely happy he is staying in NA.

I wonder if they talked to him and let him know they are working on a deal but don't want to finalize it until Gunns is healthy. That he will be up quickly.....

Just updated my blog.....

I hope this resolves Lindbohm but I worry maybe not. If he is under contract in Finland already, what he wants may not matter at all as the contract would dictate. Is he buying it out? Is there a north American out rather than the presumed NHL only out?

My hope is that he isn't under a Finnish contract at all. Perhaps his Blues contract terms stated that he would be allowed out of his contract to go sign in Finland if he didn't make the NHL, essentially meaning his Blues contract had a Finland out rather than the other way around.

ETA - Makes sense for him to start at Chicago, getting top PP minutes, top PK minutes, etc. True number 1 D in Chicago.

The more I think about this...the more I think a lot of people had it wrong perhaps..

The Blues likely had an ELC with him that afforded the opportunity of loaning him to a Finnnish league team should he not make the NHL, essentially giving Lindbohm the option. Perhaps he doesn't have a Finnish league contract at all yet. That would be great.

Yes, that would.

Would be nice if we knew his situation for sure. I really have liked what I have seen, and hope he is here to stay.

Blueman, I typed out a response twice on stljam's blog, but neither posted.

My son is doing very well. So far, the doctors are very happy about his progress. He has very little to no feeling in his feet/legs below the knees, but they think he will be able to walk.

Where is your farm again? I know that you have mentioned it before, but I can't remember.
