Still much to learn.
Those choices are not mutually exclusive...go to the bar, make friends with smart people..have them help you with homework whilst consuming the favorite alcoholic beverage of your choice!

It's all about balance, I know when my busy weeks will be and when I have time to party. The ratio of busy week to party weeks is lopsided though. The benefit of being 21 is I can buy beer, bring it home and consume while doing homework.

I can't wait. I get to go to the home opener. It's the day after Pegula should find out if the NFL owners approve of him buying the Bills. Could make for a fun night in the arena.

I need these games to start so that I can start giving a damn about the league. This is the most disinterested I've been in hockey in a lonnng time.

I saw that this morning too. Kind of sad. Seems a lot of the guys on here have spent plenty of nights there before.

I haven't watched a lick of the preseason yet. I went to the prospects game last week, and I got free tickets tonight, but, like I said before: when the expectation, and even hope (depending on who you ask) is to be in last place, it's hard to get motivated to watch these things. I've also been uncharacteristically busy on game nights as well.

It's still hockey, so I don't mind watching them. I may get frustrated during the game, but still worth having on (though admittedly I found myself "multitasking" a lot last season - playing some sort of video game while hockey was on).

I really really hope that Grigo starts this season off solid.. gets his confidence up... playing on our 2nd line with Hodge and Stewart could do wonders for him. Its hard to imagine that we have had him in our system for what 2 or 3 years now and he is just now 20 years old.

Benoit is like Adam pardy. A depth guy. First call up if injuries. Seems like Nolan has been really high on McCabe. Think they could put Pysyk on injury reserve allowing Benoit to be emergency call up. Zadorov prob won't get any NHL gms this year, unless he legit earns them. Now they might be able to put Kaleta on injury reserve too allowing for reinhart to get a try out and not mess up our roster too much. Also we are not paying mezarous to be a bottom pairing dman

Moulson ennis stafford
Hodgson grigorenko Stewart
Girgenson reinhart gionta
Foligno McCormick deslaurier
X Mitchell, Flynn. IR Kaleta

Gorges myers
Mezarous ristolanen
Weber McCabe
X Benoit IR Pysyk

I think this is it, with the changes Ion noted earlier. Reinhart goes Jr after his 9 games. Move Gus to 3c

"Looking at the numbers, Manuel has a better completion percentage than Luck and Manning. More touchdown passes than Brees and fewer interceptions than Brees, Luck and Manning. He has a higher QB rating than Brees, Luck and Manning. And a superior W-L record than Rodgers and Manning. So in relation to four of the best in the business, Manuel really isn’t off to a bad start."

The Trent Edwards-esque dump-offs greatly inflate those numbers. Many of those passes are just like runs, except his arm moves forward.

Those kind of passes are very common around the league. You think Luck, Brees, and Manning don't have a lot of those each game too?

Please, dude. We've been through it for the last 10 days.

It's almost hockey time.

Can we dedicate the page to hockey - or at least a different football issue - rather than picking this scab again.

I know they are, but we were talking about their rookie seasons. Manuel also has significantly fewer attempts than everyone on that list with the exception of Brees.

Way to go Islanders... your new arena looks sweet and off-center.

This.

It's incredibly common. The Saints are one of the better screen teams in the league. If Manuel could hit the long ball every once and a while the dump offs would be more effective.

I still don't like the switch to Orton right now
