Like the mean streak but that's something he'll have to work on going forward.

They only drafted him because he'll hit somebody with his stick.

We needed this 7 picks before he was taken
- ob18

He reminds me so much of a bigger Brian Gionta.

Bellemare/Akeson looks legit. Get them a guy that can control the puck/take the body and you've got yourself a solid 4th scoring line.

I think, just from watching him tonight, he just needs more repetitions and situation recognition -- I don't have a feel for his overall hockey sense, but hopefully he matures out of the usage of excessive force

Looks like Berube just told them to get through the 3rd. This period looks like it's being played on auto pilot.

Look how far back Grossmann was and how far up Streit was. That's my issue with that pair. Too different.

Obviously he's a good prospect...I just remember the web show, and the scout talking about him being mean and would hit somebody with his bleeping stick

They'll have to juggle a bit to keep him for the 9 games.

LTIR Pronger before the season(which they will have to do anyhow), LTIR Ryan White at the same time and waive Nick Schultz and they should be able to fit Morin in while icing a full roster.

Morin definitely isn't ready for the big show from watching him tonight. He looks very promising and it's exciting. But right now hes not doing more than if Lauridsen were in there.
- Just5

Morin is already twice the player that Lauridsen is. It's pretty obvious that Morin is going to be an NHL player, and it looks like he'll be a pretty good one with a high ceiling. Lauridsen will probably never be a regular NHL player, and a career minor leaguer.
