Glad he signed. He could have just went back to junior and went higher in the draft next year. Likely would get a higher contract. Nice to see when we gave him an opportunity he didn't (frank) us over.

Don't think he'd go that high, not at 140. Even at 155 I doubt he would go that high with the Russian factor. People had him ranked as high as 36th yet no one even through a 7th at the kid.

Your assessment of Nikitin is incorrect. Maybe because you're looking at the wrong guy. He was paired with fayne and they played pretty solid shutdown defence. On the other hand your assessment of aulie is correct.
