No poop!! I was swearing at TSN and flames.com all god damn night waiting for the highlight package. That would have been a good game to televise, Iggy's first game against the flames in an Avs uni


So what's the deal with Poirer? I know he was just sent down, but is he close to game ready or what?

I'm happy Ferland's finding his way. I think he had a wake up call when he got cut from Abby and was sent back to junior for another year, nice to see that it motivated him and helped him progress nicely.

Unlike most of our prospects that we are excited for, Ferland could do well in a bottom 6 roll. A line of Bouma Byron Ferland could make for one hell of an energy/checking line

Poirier is still recovering from offseason shoulder surgery. I believe they said he was going to see his surgeon this week to determine whether he's cleared for contact or not. Although they said that it could be a month before he's back. Maybe more, maybe less.

I'm not at all happy with either of their 2013-14 seasons....but I'm also not stupid and realize that chances are both will be better hockey players at some point in their futures. You might not not be able to wrap your head around that and I can understand why, seeing as how you are stupid.
