Yea, it's desperate too. I don't trust Orton throwing 44 times either
- sbroads24

My problem with this is they announce he will start today but didn't think about bringing him in yesterday?

It's screaming save my job Kyle. I don't like it.

And sadly disappointed when Orton of his career 58% passing percentage does just as bad or worse.

Orton is who he is a NFL backup for a reason.

- Stripes77

n his 3-10 year in Denver he had 21-9.

He can make the throws that won't kill his receivers.

EJ is now going to be doing what he should've been doing all along. Holding the clipboard for a year or two.

I was never really a big ej fan but I did like us trading down that draft and getting Kiko out of it. I don't expect ej to be an elite qb and single handily win us games. With that being said I would like him to hit the 20 yard over the middle throw. Seems like from last year to this year that he cannot hit that throw well. I don't like our play calling at times and our o line is suspect so it's not all ejs fault but he's gotta hit the easy throws when they are there and he has time.

Before the season started did anybody pencil us to be 3-1 right now? I think most people thought we would be 2-2 right now.

it's that time of year, goosie...the bills are struggling and hockey season's only a couple of weeks away...groundhog day

So, let's try and change the subject.

I think Rochester might be a tough team to play against this year. If they can get goaltending like they did from Makarov last night and the team plays much like they did last night, it should be an entertaining team to watch.

Hardly , when your agenda is transparent like yours . To keep dwelling on how we should have drafted Bennett over Reinhart . Hardly time to make that call yet . You may resume your campaign in 3 to 5 years when a better judgement can be made . Bennett may be better right now . Come back when we are a contender and Bennett has already peeked and Reinhart is becoming a star. You agenda has become old and neither player has played a real NHL game yet.

In his time as the starter in Chicago and Denver he averaged 30 attempts a game.

Everyone hoping to save their jobs. Fire Hackett and save jobs ! Marrone's loyalty to him is going to cost everyone their jobs.

I have to agree. It looks bad, real bad.

Especially behind that sham of what they call an offensive line. How did they not think to double team Watt yesterday like they did Cameron Wake?

The play calling is awful, their decisions are bad, and EJ is not a franchise saving QB. So instead of pulling the play calling from the OC they bench the still rookie QB?

Valid reason to fire Marrone then, IMO. He's the guy who brought in the OC I imagine.

Don't have Sirius but I hate it too. Basically pulling a Grigorenko on Manuel.

I would agree, but like I said earlier, it would be one thing if receivers weren't getting open, and Houston just shut down the passing game. That wasn't the case. They needed a quarterback that can get the ball there. I have no idea if Kyle Orton can, but right now, EJ can't. In an environment where I'm trying to save my job, I'd probably do the same thing.

The other thing is, if you are going to bench Manuel for Orton, now is the time to do it. He needs the entire week to prepare.

The other thing is that maybe DD is right. He probably should be holding a clipboard to begin with. My only issue is, then get a better quarterback to play ahead of him. Is Orton that quarterback? I don't know.

There is a difference between critiquing the play of him and getting all up in arms cause the guy you picked had an article written about the nice things he as done.

How about you look at the difference in the player. Bennett is that guy who is gonna have good things written about him and then bad things when he doesn't show his potential. It's the type of player he is.

Reinhart won't have those bad articles because he isn't that flashy player that makes risks and won't work all the time. He is the steady guy that will make those around him better. You wanted Bennett we get that but if you keep coming around and posting every pat on the back article about him it's going to p!ss of a lot of people.

- Stripes77

Let's see I had 50 know it all people like you talk to me like this post and now I post an article that shows Bennett has had a heart in the two games he has played and you guys basically lose it...again. This is a Reinhart is the poop site. This should have been a research project and if it was it would have shown that if you don't post like good little sheep then you are a misfit.

Unless Orton uncharacteristically lights things up, they're all gone at the end of the year.

The only one that might be safe is Jim Schwartz, and that's only if the defense maintains this level of play.
