If he can't, that would just be frustrating. Not because he's going to cripple the organization for all time. But because the league is so close now, you don't want to be conceding too many shifts, let alone points, because a guy loses his discipline.

So 17 pages we are still on Rinaldo with a bit about poptarts and peanut butter thrown in here and there.

Gagne can help some teams, I prefer the Flyers going the younger route, both last year & now

I probably wanted him a little more last year than this year, because I was concerned about who Sean Couturier was going to play with. I have no issues with that now, and while Gagne's one of my favorite Flyers, I'd prefer that Michael Raffl and Read continue in the roles they are in.

He's had 3 years of stagnant development. He's never been much more than a pest at any level, so no, I'm not really willing to give him more time.

As long as he's a Flyer, I will hope he proves me wrong , but I don't have much faith that he can be an effective player. I will allow that stranger things have happened, but we've heard Rinaldo talk about what he wants to be, with minimal change on ice, for 3 years now. Not gonna hold my breath

It's a Quasar, Marvel Comics style. You'll be sitting in a theatre in 3 years watching him in Gaurdians of the Galaxy 2.

Stan Mikita had world class skills, I'd be a lot more patient for Rinaldo if he had Giroux potential. Not willing to wait long for a guy who might be a future Dale Kushner

I'm really impressed with what I've seen in Jones thus far. Good size and reads the game really well from what limited action I've seen from him this preseason. I feel like he's a player that could be inserted into the lineup for a number of different roles.
Whereas Cousins has really nice play-making ability and a nose for offense, I feel like Jones has stood out from all sides of the puck.

More Raffl last season, and Laughton this season

I really want to see Laughton make the team. Not because of any thing other than I think he's ready and playing last year in the OHL was akin to an AHL season for him. I thought he came into camp trying to do too much. Once he settled down you could really see his game coming all over the ice.

Hopefully Morin will make it on the back end for a few regular season NHL games. I'd like to see that as well.

I'm fairly certain Ghostibehere will crack the line up this season. Grossman isn't going to hold up unfortunately.

Carchidi just tweeted Berube says all jobs are locked up except 4C & one 4W spot.

Look like Laughton, Akeson, Jones, Leier, Bellemare in fight to be Zac's linemates

Wasn't Leier already sent to the AHL

Also I will say I've seen Rinaldo's play stand out thus far this preseason but I just don't see the potential in getting better from the position of skills. Players like Jones, Cousins, Akeson and Laughton all feel like there's room to grow and improve playing at the NHL level.

I think Alt or Manning get first shot, would not be amazed if Ghost was a late season recall. I think Morin might get his 9 games. Not sold either is ready

I wouldn't be surprised if Morin doesn't even get his cup of coffee 9 games TBH.
I'd rather they experiment with trying Ghost out there.
