Agreed that he's an interesting option, but at what cost?? And He is a lefty, which doesn't help with righty Franson injury.

Holland had another strong game playing 3rd line with stiffs.

Frattin is playing his way off this team.

agree with the first point, not sure about the 2nd.

Leivo could steal Kontiola's spot, and If Orr doesnt make it, Frattin will be there.

I haven't liked the play of Booth thus far, maybe we can have a 3rd line of Leivo-Holland-Santorelli and make Carrick the #4 center with komarov and winnik

You'd think that this franson injury would open up for Percy, but they are different hands. Grangerg and holzer are both righties, but percy has been better than them.

true, but phaneuf can play left or right.

I think Parros is the reason Orr has lost his edge.

Meh, it wasn't the first time he knocked a guy out (on purpose or by accident).

He looked spooked though..and ended up only fighting a handful of times the whole year after that

Just needs to play with Kadri, let the unstoppable chemistry be unleashed.

If you're doing this on merit (and not contract), I don't think there's much choice; Booth, Kontiola, Frattin (sometimes) have not looked good enough.

Jamie McBain has skated a fairly regular shift in the NHL the last several years and is still only 26 years old. Nevertheless, he has been released outright. It's nice the Coyotes gave him a shot, but you have to figure there are easier teams to make as a defenseman. No doubt some team will suffer a host of injury calamities and he'll get another shot - it's not like 30 point defenseman can't be useful.

Don't. Trust me. He'll kill his own goalies.

He should have retired after last year.

Leivo looks to be ready for the NHL and Kozun can fly. Nonis and Carlyle have some tough decisions to make.

If he hadn't already been under contract for this year he would have been done. I can't blame him for trying to make a living but he just can't play at that level any more. The young guys need a chance to play.

Which, in turn, will lead to more lobbying to end fighting in the game.

Is it a bad or good thing Franson might not be in our opening lineup.
