You don't have to, but it does make dealing with reality much easier.

Kelly also had an offensive line held together with Jason Peters, some duct tape, and medical tape. His calls were obviously affected by the fact that the line couldn't push an elite front 7 like the Niners off the ball.

Foles also missed quite a few open receivers. When you can't execute, it doesn't matter what play was called.

Leier looks like a guy who is going to help this franchise.

I'd take Leier over Rinaldo right now

True, but I think Foles has zero faith in the o-line backups. That'll make you overthrow targets and do things you wouldn't do otherwise. He's a young QB, relatively speaking, and the reality is, he's not the ideal to run Kelly's offense.

Me too and I'm squarely on "Team Let the Kids Develop".

Leier just looks like a kid that is gonna play in the NHL no matter what.

I'm not saying he sucked, but he was not good today. Pretty much everyone on offense, from Kelly on down, sucked today. Excpet maybe Jeremy Maclin.

I'd rather barely beat 2 teams looking like poop than lose looking awesome.

The Eagles have some o-line problems they need to get fixed. I'm confident Kelly can figure it out.

You're right; results are what they are.

But you can't just dismiss the injuries on the line. Kelce was a giant loss. Mathis is a pro bowl player. Lane Johnson kicked ass last year. At least they get Johnson back next week.

True, but the 49ers were down a couple O-Line men, too. Didn't stop them.

It was a bad day at the office for the Eagles. They played poorly and lost by 5 and were in it till the end.

The difference is, the Niners have a big time front 7 that could take advantage.

The Eagles defense? Not so much.

No, which is why a bad day at the office by the offense can scuttle the Birds.

Maybe it was also a good day at the office for the Niners defense.

The NFL has a rhythm and, frankly, today never looked like it was gonna be the Eagles' day.
