What do you think of the roster cuts.

With the 28 still in camp. Really 27 because York will go to the ECHL.

March, Vlad, Witko, and Paquette still with the team. Do you see any of them making it? Also do you see any of Sustr, Barberio, Panik, Connolly, Kucherov, Drouin not making it.

I don't so I think the team is pretty set and those first four will eventually go to Syracuse.

I noticed Kucherov has played in all three preseason games so far so they definitely are giving him a hard look since he is waiver eligible but his play has been great, I wonder if they play him again with Stamkos and Callahan. Drouin's injury probably helps him even more. I think he has surprised the coaches the most from end of season to now. I might be biased as I said he is my breakout player but he is too good for the AHL, he looked great on the top line. So really only Sustr is a possibility to go down as he is waiver exempt until he plays 12 games with the Bolts.

Not a fan. They kinda look like practice jerseys, which is never a good thing. Having said that, if they put the actual logo on the front instead of the word Bolts and made the striping a little more creative, it'd make a nice jersey.

I think you're likely right on the money here.

kind of a snoozer.

the only things i like about this uni are the stripe down the sleeves and the bolt on the pants.

but i'm also just so tired of black jerseys. i know you guys wanted the original colors back but this jersey just leaves me kind of disappointed. there's just not anything to it.

honestly I think it would have looked awesome with "LIGHTNING" diagonal down the front like the ranger jersey. or used the shoulder patch logo as the main logo for this one that would have looked perfect. other than the logo everything else about the uniform I like. I think they will look great on the ice too. that blue really pops against the black. Actually remind me a little of the sharks black uniform just with blue instead of teal.

They brought the black back, that is what matters to me. It was our primary color for years. I also like that they have the bolts on the pants in blue, another throwback to the old.

The word Bolts doesn't bother me, it would look good with the new team crest for sure but to be honest if you live in Tampa and talk hockey they are not the Lightning, they are definitely known as the Bolts.

Well I've been begging to bring back the black; saying that wish they would just put the word Tampa instead of the bolts, will check out the jersey on game night against the stinkin panthers.

I like him. I'd like em more without the word Bolts but snazzy still. Glad to see them go back to the black.
