Yeah, he looked like he was storing nuts in them for the winter. |

Well Michael Stuart was the only one at the game tonight
Love what I'm seeing from Miller so far, really playing with confidence and assertion and Duclair is going to make it harder than we thought, kid has been dynamic |

Duclair 2 goals? Glad NHL Network is reshowing this game tomorrow at 10am |

If he drives the net like he did earlier in this game, I could see 40 goals from him this year to be honest. That's like his signature move and he used to score a huge chunk of his goals like that. |

Yup, lighter healthier Nash, no way he is as unlucky as he was last year. |

Great write up from Carp
http://rangers.lohudblogs...lvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
Here's and excerpt: So I was watching the between-periods highlights of last spring’s playoff run on MSG. Only, the Rangers-Canadiens highlights must have been from a different season because I didn’t see any Habs complaining, whining, crying, diving or generally embarrassing themselves.

Carp rules. Also, definitely haven't been this excited about a whole pool of prospects in a while. There was always this guy or that guy, but now all of a sudden there are a lot. Nice to have, considering we haven't picked in the first round for a while. - evitageN
I agree, I think our young guys are ready to go! Damn we are fast man! I think we're going to surprise a lot of people this year to be honest. Most of the "experts" are picking us to just squeak into the playoffs too. |

I missed the first half of the game, but from what I saw I really was pleased with Duclair and JT Miller. Those two were clearly noticeable every time they were on the ice.
I wasn't thrilled with McIlrath's game, but it wasn't terrible. I see another season in the AHL from him this year.
Overall, the Rangers were simply really fast and enjoyable to watch. I know it was only pre-season game #2, but the kids we wanted to do well, did; and none of the vets got injured. That's a big in my view. |

Chris Bourque was pretty good. Kid was flying. Still a longshot to make the team but if he was a little bigger I think he'd be right in the discussion with Fast to potentially take a wing spot. |

We always knew our kids had talent but keep in mind its preseason. They are playing as hard as they can to impress, but its not against full NHL teams. Lets reserve the "these kids are NHL ready" comments lol... |

I don't think anyone's actually posted any one of these kids are NHL ready outside Miller
I do think that Duclair, if he continues playing like he did last night, deserves a 9 game tryout just to get the experience and take it down with him to Juniors. Hell, since his contract doesn't slide, maybe keep him up until he hits a rump and then send him back because his 1st contract year is already burned. We'd have to make a move to do that but it could only help the kid. |

Yeah Miller has paid his dues in the AHL. Played really good the 2 games he was in. Was great on faceoffs. And we need a center. Pretty easy choice. |

For sure. He has some nice offensive upside too.
I'm waiting for the inevitable backlash on Facebook and Twitter from fans that call for Sather's head when they send Duclair back to the Juniors. "Sather is an idiot! This kid should be in the AHL not Juniors!" |

Juniors are what's logically best for Duclair but logic isn't what a lot of Rangers fans use, I would have no problem with him sticking around for 9 games like you said, Step will be out for 10-15 games and it wouldn't hurt, this is as long as he continues plays like he did last night, he was noticeable every shift and responsible defensively |

Kid showed great skills last night. He's still 18? No need to rush. He is a 1st line-2nd line player. If there is no room for him, no point putting him on the 3rd or 4th line. |
