I tell you though, even when the team doesn't win games this year....they will still be fun to watch scoring a lot of goals. Crazy how the dynamics have changed in less then 2 years. All about the speed.

I can't believe the Flyers gave MacDonald 5 million a year until 2020

Haggerty made him and Coburn look absolutely silly on his first goal

Looking fwd to a full season(followed by another and another...) of Macdonald in a Flyer jersey.

I agree, I think stempniak Moore glass will be our 4th line. You still need guys that can do the intangibles. Not saying the young kids can't but they're unproven.

one more thing about Duclair though, could there possibly anything more he could learn by spending another year in the Quebec league even remotely on par with what he could learn from being around Martin St. Louis this whole season?

If they send Duclair back, they are blowing an opportunity of having him around one of the most revered French Canadian players of all time. Back to a place where he got a concussion last year.

If duclair gets a spot on the team a trade needs to get made IMO, even more so when Stepan comes back. Putting a guy like hayes/duclair/Haggerty on the 4th line is a waste. If duclair gets a spot on the team someone needs to be traded. The only 1 person I could see is hags. Duclair replaces his speed with a higher ceiling but you get rid of a hard worker that plays well under AV. Maybe hags+ for a young center with upside. We need to do a multi player for 1/picks type trade.

I'm not saying I want him traded, but for duclair to get a spot someone will need to go. I don't see anyone else in the top 9 that can be replaced by duclair.

This team is built on speed. Hagelin is the team's fastest all around player. Plus with Boyle gone will be on the top PK unit. I just don't see any possible way he gets moved.

It's so nice seeing the issue go from "we don't have any youth" to "where do we fit the kids".

Trading Hags is not the answer, that would really hurt the depth of this team, I know everyone so googoo gaga over him right now but let's at first have him play those 9 regular season games before we're trading away part of the core

Duclair might not be AS fast, but he's not slow. Again, I'm not saying I want him traded but he's the most logical replacement.
