Duclair almost set up Haggerty like 30 seconds earlier. Haggerty decided to just do it himself that time.

Haggerty can just flat out score goals, I feel bad for AV, some real tough decisions coming
- HankdaTank

This isn't a decision at this point. You keep Haggerty and Duclair. They are 1 and 1a right now.

Funny, before pre-season we were all hoping the Rangers could find bodies to fill holes. Now the way some of these kids are playing, looks like there aren't enough spots.

That was a good goal though. Good movement and a good shot initially by.... Boyle

Just saw the 2nd half of the second, but mostly I saw I loved, lots of speed, Zuc being Zuc again, not afraid to mix it up with that big 6'6 Philly kid. Haggerty & Duclair are flying, Nash & St. Louis too.

I'll rewatch the 1st later but I guess they looked this good all game?

Wait until you see the first 2 goals

I think Hayes is better off starting the year in Hartford, his game is too raw

That was a sweet pass he made to set up Fast's 2nd goal.

Overall really can't complain about much from this game. Loving the balanced scoring throughout the lineup

According to AV Haggerty, Duclair, and Hayes will all play tomorrow. Roster will be cut to 30 by Wednesday

I think Tanner Glass is a necessity and I think he is going to be on this team.

That being said, all of the other veteran signings up front this summer, and I mean all of them, look unnecessary right now.

JT Miller should be a lock, and Duclair, Haggerty and Fast should all be on the team with Hayes extremely close.

With the exception of Duclair, all of them are in their 20's, it's not like all of them are babies

I really have no use for the likes of Stempniak, Lombardi and Malone after seeing these kids play. And this isn't even counting Kristo and Lindberg.

Who says we have no prospects?

I definitely agree that the kids have impressed and likely deserve a spot on the team. But, where in the lineup would you insert all that youth. Impressing in the preseason is one thing, but the regular season is a different monster. The kids will likely have some growing pains. So, yes, the kids have made some of the vets look unnecessary. But I just don't see them going with that much youth. AV has some tough decisions ahead of him this week, that's for sure. And for the team, that's a good thing!

I think in the end if any one of the kids outside miller stays it will be duclair only because once we send him down we can't bring him back up. Haggerty and hayes will start in the AHL and can be called up unless Hayes wins that 4th center roster spot until stepan gets back...then he'll be sent down.

I agree with everything except Stempniak, I really like him as that 4th line RW and PK

This Flyers team is going to be bad. This is basically prospects making Schultz, Macdonald and Coburn look horrible.
- tomburton99

Believe me he doesn't need any help with that.

I can't believe the Flyers gave MacDonald 5 million a year until 2020

Haggerty made him and Coburn look absolutely silly on his first goal

I am interested in tonight's game in regards to Duclair, Hayes and Haggerty. Flyers will be dressing more regulars then last night.

I agree, I think stempniak Moore glass will be our 4th line. You still need guys that can do the intangibles. Not saying the young kids can't but they're unproven.
