I'm still upset over that "over 34" comment you made last thread

Tanner Glass.

I never wanted to waste a single emotion on him. Not even to hate him. He was that worthless.

Yah, that was kind of a low blow. Homer isn't even running the show anymore so the joke wasn't even timely haha

I still think Holmgler gets a harsher rap than he deserves, but he def had his warts.

I think you got this a little out of context. It wasn't just a singular statement
- usethe1-2-2

"Success is winning. Not just making it especially with this talent".

What is the context of that? It's a pretty singular comment.

You are saying that with the talent of the Penguins that they should only feel successful when they win the cup and by proxy neither should the fans. Which logical, I don't think any team or fan feels successful when they don't win, but there is more than just talent involved in a team winning.

I'm indifferent to Glass. But I find it funny that the Rangers snapped him up.

Is there a stream of the game anywhere? Still can't believe Root would ever play a baseball game while there is hockey being played. Could I call and get NHL center ice right now and watch this game?

Its funny how actual GM's and actual coaches like Tanner Glass, and bloggers and there followers hate him. I think he was extremely misused in P Burgh.

That was simply amazing to me. Got a raise too. It's almost like there wasn't any video available of his two terrible years with the Pens.

I got an injection in my hand today. I am in no mood to mince words. And, truthfully, Malkin and Sid will only be around for so long so lets stop pretending some players like Adams and MAF are decent. They are not. If MAF mishandles the puck again for the 377th time I have no patience for that. none.

Leave it behind the net and stop whipping it up the opposing team too, I have had enough of that as well. He holds it for a day and a half and then panics.

Panic in fact, should be his middle name. When he is out of position, going down early or other prerequisite early overreactions you can count on him not holding his position. Honestly if he just stayed in the net and stop going down and flopping he would be ok.

But that is like asking a cop to stay out of a donut shop. Ain't gonna happen.

Hoping he finishes up the year in WB. I at least appreciate he once was a serviceable player. Glass was pretty much terrible from beginning to end here.

Yeah. Hand hurts. Have a church meeting at 630PM but after that, look out bourbon! I usually don't hit the hard stuff on weeknights but tonight is kind of special.

i love seeing this board light up with comments, that is a sure fire way to know that hockey is just right around the corner!!!! YAY !!!!

ive got a good feeling about this team this year, i think that paul martin gets moved b4 the season starts, too many teams need a d-man right now and we need a top six, that being said, jim isnt a dummy either, we dont need to let him walk for nothing at the end of the season.

now if there were only something we could do with scuds!

Heard from my Flyers buddy that a trade between Philly and Winnipeg for Kane was very, very close to happening at some point in the near past. That might be some Ek level stuff, and its pretty irrelevant now, but that's just what I heard. In some other universe, we have to deal with GOAT Kane in a puke orange uniform.

I don't mind losing him for nothing given the fact that he makes this team better. Unless pouliot, dumoulin, Harrington, or despres REALLY impress

I agree with this sentiment. I'd rather have a shot at a cup than stall a potential cup run just to manage assets "properly." Unless we move Martin under the right circumstances, and his movement makes our cup run stronger, he should stay put.
