Who's defending Cappy? I'm defending common sense more then anything
- Vukota

I know you are no fan of Cappy Vukota. It's just very frustrating to me that Cappy is still the coach. I thought there was a real chance to upgrade the coaching like we did the goaltending and forwards. It's very hard not to feel nervous about Cappy being in charge and being able to avoid another lousy start.

It's true. I've been exposed

I think there's a thread somewhere on here for this.

I agree. I just come from the school of "I'll complain when there is reason to complain" Maybe its just me but I never put any stock into preseason. Yeah Cappy sucks and I'm all for a new coach and all but until that happens I will kill him when it calls for him to be killed. I can't sit here and worry about a bad start until that bad start becomes reality. That's just me

With the injuries of Stephan, Datsyuk and Staal over the last 48 hours I could care less about the penalty kill right now. Plenty of practice time before the puck drops to work out all the kinks

That sounds about right. We never beat the hurricanes, at least we get two of those games out of the way quickly

I'm with you. Just get out of the preseason healthy. That's all I care about

**WARNING** This post will contain some positive feedback from last nights game

Brock Nelson looked good last night. I think this kid is going to be real good.

Anders Lee is a beast along the boards and in the corners. Love the way he uses his size.

Reinhart is much bigger then I thought. Not expecting big things out him this year but he has the size and pedigree to be around for a long time.

Grabovski is going to have a huge year for the isles this year. Love his speed

Loved the Strome - Nelson - Lee line.

I still believe Nelson is going to be better than Strome. I know Strome has some excellent hands and offensive instincts, but I think Nelson could score 25 this year and 50 points, and I see his upside as a 70 point player in a year or two if he gets top six minutes and PP time.

Starting to look like Grabovski could stay on the Tavares line at LW...practicing with them again today.

I like it. Hopefully allows for a Lee, Strome, Nelson line.

Wasn't part of the deal of him signing was that he and Kulemin would play together on the same line? Not that Grabovski would have a problem with it

Let me sprinkle in a little negativity...it scares the bejesus out of me that I can see 2 of these 3 starting in Bridgeport.

I think that was the plan but, hey, if Grabovski has chemistry with Tavares then by all means feel free to change it.

Yeah I can't find a way to justify giving a guy like Bailey or Conacher a shot at a roster spot over Strome or Lee at this point.

I wasn't really all that impressed by having grabovski with that line last night. They looked like they were over handling the puck and it didn't seem to fit well. I loved our kid line, but if we play grabovski with jt then who plays with kulemin? I can't see them signing them as a package to play together to not even start the year with them on a line together.

I thought he looked good with them but I do agree they were too cute last night with the puck. I thought Skille had a couple of nice moves with the puck and we was bigger then I thought he would be. Hopefully these guys pass through waivers and then get called up when some of the guys shat the bed

Great line, plus I believe I mentioned that the kids should play together as a 3rd line w/Nelson being the C
Funny thing is I got blasted for it and most screaming about how Strome is the better C..... Comical how things might turn out...

In fairness, with the depth of C's the isles have, it might be a good idea to play grabo w/JT bc he adds a speed element to that line plus is sound defensively also. Brock Nelson is much more valuable (to me) as a C than W.
