It looks like some posters would rather discuss the definition of completely then discuss the point at hand, that is Stepan and his broken leg, and whether the existence of Sather's purported third eye is indeed true, due to his signing of a solid player like Lombardi this summer, and whether that constitutes cap mismanagement, or evidence of false data in Corsi, and all its derivatives. And also you're just making my point. I am available to discuss the sport of Hockey, the topic of advanced stats, and the nature of the salary cap with you at any time.

I'd like to discuss whether you think it's reasonable that Lombardi can reasonably replace Stepan. I think it's reasonable to assume he will fall somewhere in the middle.

Kind of prescient of them to sign Matt Lombardi this summer.

Come on, we all know Sather is dying to land another former Lightning center whose best days are behind him......

You're failing to grasp the point at hand, and you're obviously sidestepping the true nature of what I was saying. If you look at things in the proper context, you'll see that I'm right. I'm just here to deal in the facts which are indisputable, and you're obviously trying to deal in hypotheticals.

I don't think it's reasonable that Lombardi can reasonably replace how reasonable Stepan can reasonably be. Do you completely think it's within the realm of reasonability that Stepan's reasonableness can reasonably be replaced, reasonably, by the reasonability of reason within Lombardi's ability to reasonably be reasonable, within reason?

I think it's reasonable to conclude that you will also fall somewhere in the middle, neither excelling in your role nor failing. Everything becomes the mean average. It's statistics.

I think that's a reasonably reasonable assumption given the reasonable nature of headaches, viewed in proper context.

Why would you assume trade? He was likely among the 1st roster cuts and assigned back to junior.

Bill, being amazing professional hockey writer you are. What is your brutally honest opinion of the JVR for Schenn trade so far?
