if the second line had been jvr lupul and kadri probably would have gotten us into the playoffs - jribout
If Joey Crabb is on your first line, Jesus on the second line won't get you into the playoffs.

Randy already screwed with the "proven" line when he took Lupul off it. That seemed to work out.
By the way, JVR-Kadri-Lupul would be a pretty legit line
Drop the Clarkson hate for 5 seconds and look at big picture. They'd have to put their best shutdown lines against those 3 and that would leave Kessel to light up their weaker lines. - TheThrill
if a team is line matching, whatever line Kessel is on will draw the top assignment. |

The one constant is Kessel, so yes.
Bernier is still pretty unproven.
Rielly is also pretty unproven, see Del Zotto, Michael (6th in Norris voting at 22 to a waiver wire player at 24) - AdamFrench

So, yeah. The Leafs ice a much better lineup at the ACC... just like Ottawa does at the CTC.
Carry on. |

This year the Leafs are planning to get Kessel a fake moustache.
He'll put it on the third period, and the opposition won't know he's on the ice until it is too late.
I hope it's against the Habs. |

Fair.
For the record, I'm not necessarily talking about the regular season though. Just trying out combos in the pre-season where poop doesn't matter.
I think Randy alluded to them possibly moving Lupul up to that line in his first presser. Would make some sense to spread scoring around. Kadri with the sweet dishes to JVR all year long - TheThrill
For sure
Thats what the pre season is for. As for the regular season i would rather have 2 good scoring threats on both lines rather than 1 on the first and 3 on the second. Plus it allows everyone to play their natural positions. I like kessel aiming for the 40-50 range rather than trying to carry a line to 30. Kadri is also a year older and should be better. I don't think he needs to be shelter that much

You still don't get it.
The Sens are doing it because they (and their fans) are idiot losers.
The Leafs are doing it because they are good to their fans, they aren't going to play Ottawa's stupid game, and they are awesome.

Yeah. Although I nearly killed my computer on Monday after realizing I had no current anti-virus software, while streaming the game. |

Use Chrome with the Adblock extension. You can't safely stream otherwise really. But with that setup, it's a one-click trick. No more hunting for X's that move around and getting 75 popups
(frank) that noise |
