Nylander can sure steal pucks. |

How many (frank)ing Subbans are in the league?? Montreal, Boston, San Jose, Philly.. - Conquest
Montreal. Boston goalie is a couple years out, I'd be surprised if the undersized nuck prospect ever sticks |

Love how miller says someone should let komorov know this is preseason!
This is what we have been missing. Someone who just plays hard every night! If he scores it's just a bonus

we brought clarkson in to be a 20 goal scorer who plays hard, let him play line 3 to take the pressure off.
Not many players in this league can strip a play of the puck right in front of the net and score like that. If kid deserves to be here, give him a 9 game audition to prove he belongs the whole year - GardinerExpress
Screw these 9 game auditions. He may look good during those 9 games. What about games 60 to 69? Is he going to last all season?
Might as well let him develop. It never hurt a career for a little more seasoning. Allows him to work on his weaknesses with confidence. |

9 game rule doesn't exist for Nylander. He can play 24 games before burning a year of hs ELC p, assuming he goes to Sweden if not on Leafs.
Obviously if he's with marlies it counts as a year of ELC |

If he shows he can play he will be up with the Leafs. He isn't a junior player. He can be sent to Sweden or the AHL at anytime. |

I'm still a believer he should have been sent back too. Are you telling me he was/is perfect with no flaws?
I just think guys should work on their weaknesses in a place where their confidence won't be hurt when a mistake is made.
I think Nylander should play overseas or on the Marlies. A few bad games with the Leafs could hurt his confidence. We have nothing but upside if the team waited. |

Rielly probably learned more last year playing in NHL than he would have learned on 2 or 3 yrs in a developement league.
Before season I thought he should go back to jr, but Rielly prooved he is that good, and will be better sooner. Plus he was more physically developed than Gardiner
Different story for Nylander... |

if he doesnt look good in 60-69 we can send him to the AHL. Nice advantage of a non NA prospect! |

Also wtf did Orr have the A on his jersey and jvr had nothing. I know it's preseason and doesn't mean anything but seriously that's just pathetic |

Is Komarov, Darcy Tucker 2.0?
Nylander had a good game, but he just isn't big enough to hang in the NHL for the entire year. Go back to sweden, hit the roids hard, come back 25lbs heavier next year and dominate |

he learned more playing the entire season with the leafs than playing against 16 year olds again in the juniors. Rielly was just too good. Murray,Rielly,Lindholm and Trouba were all too good to send back |

patrick kane is about 170 soaking wet. I dont think he is ever gonna win the puck battles with his strength, but his skills will make up for it |
