Then don't trade him, talking as we have any power over who gets traded and who doesn't. Just an option, actually now that I noticed Phil is 26 it would be incredibly stupid to trade him. But someone like Datsyuk could be traded for an amazing return if the Wings aren't a playoff team, which is a possibility. Leafs and Sens are as good as the Wings IMO. - TheCalSen
This I'll agree with you. The thing Detroit has is the best coach in the NHL. |

Understood man, but in reality, I could see an article pertaining to an Ottawa Sens player getting burned in a house fire and not even click on it. So that's my dumbass excuse. - sloppyseconds2
I only looked cause I thought he was way off. Sens are one of the teams I couldnt care less for then I already do. |

I feel the same way about the leafs, just having some fun and a bit of retaliation for how some of you posted crap on Ryan's blog. Peace. |

He's a set up guy because he can't always take the initiative to go for a shot. He is labeled as a defenseman after all, he has some duties to go back and defend. I already hear the laughter btw, but the truth is Karlsson defends...in his own way. - TheCalSen
Not very good, just like Gardiner, but they do have an offensive upside. |

He nailed rosehill from behind and rosehill did nothing about it. When I saw that I thought "here we go" then nothing. Rosehill and Orr had quiet nights. I liked when Orr challenged simmons and he wanted nothing to do with him. Unlike when it was Hozer. Thats why I think the leafs need to keep Orr or McClaren. You need someone the other team wants nothing to do with, when you have someone like komarov hitting everything that moves. He needs some protection - LeafsBlueline
Ref called it boarding.. because you could argue it was a hit from behind. Personally more like Polak simple "female dog-slapped" Rosehill... just simply tossed him, not really any different than was done a few minutes early to Kozun ( I believe) in the Flyers zone by the Flyers d-man - without a penalty. Flyers were running some of the Leafs, and yes Leafs need some spine ... Polak is exactly the right type. |

How about Polak? Someone on this site summed him upexactly. "Slow and takes bad penalties" It's good to see some more physicality on the back end, but he can't take a bad penalty every game - LeafsBlueline

Maybe one more year of Orrsy then let Devane/Broll take over? |

I like both of them (for an enforcer-lite that can play the game somewhat). |

We still havent even seen Robidas. Dion looked MUCH better being able to turn to his forehand to clear the puck last night.
Our D-Corps are getting better.....please let me be right on this one. |

Orr is a damn beautician. Funny how quick Simmonds realized "poop that is Orr" and decided he wasnt nearly as tough as he thinks he is. |

Devane is a pretty tough kid but Broll is a light heavy. Doesnt really have that intimidation factor. |

I think Simmonds will be able to shake off the shame when he scores 30 and is a top power forward in the game. |

I love Simmonds, always have. However there are times you need to be reminded on the ice that you are NOT the toughest hombre around. |
