What becomes of Hansen, Higgins and Richarson then?

If possible, it would be nice to see him get the 9 games. Although the way WD wants to roll 4 lines, he could develop nicely in a 4th line role. As for the others, it looks like a fun year in Utica. Some good hockey. And Gillis is god.

Bi-polar Tuesday is over, let's not get all jacked up because some kids scored in a pre-season game. The team will look a lot like it did last year, with some obvious minor additions and subtractions. I do really like the new coaching staff, and I think that there is a renewed energy in the team, partly due to getting rid of Lu and Kes. Still, tough division and conference, other teams will also be better and we don't really know if guys like Bonini and Vey will be able to keep it up for a full season with the workload they are about to experience.

It is a big deal; he's only 24 and just starting to work with an actual goaltending coach, I like his potential and he's two years younger than Lack.

Agreed. The goals/offense will come, but if he can show he has the skill set to be a solid two way player, he'll have a much better chance at making the team.

I only saw the tail end of the game but he seemed to play alright.
