Thank god this isnt an AV camp/pre season. WDJ seems very sensible and not bent on proving media and fans wrong with his decisions. Nice start for him as well as the kids.

Unless you guys have insane conncetions. Judging by the only game I was able to view tonight. WD has them well on there way.

The pace was so refreshing. The speed was so refreshing. It was fun to watch.

I understand its pre season. But seriously. It looked like night and day out there compared to last year.

new kids looked good tonight. For their first game you can tell Willie has them buying into the work ethic. Much different feel. Even as the game went on it really seemed they didnt sit back and wait for the win to happen. Some of the vets didnt seem to be moving as fast imo. But that will come.

It was a much better game to watch last night than last year. Some things to be excited about. Even if a bunch dont make the team. They will be developed and we have some promise now in the pool.

If possible, it would be nice to see him get the 9 games. Although the way WD wants to roll 4 lines, he could develop nicely in a 4th line role. As for the others, it looks like a fun year in Utica. Some good hockey. And Gillis is god.
