Even though Ryder has the pts to back him up right now I still think he kills just about every play he gets involved in I definately think Boucher would be an upgrade over him if we could move him and Boucher played on the second line I think him and Henrique make a pretty good duo

Some thoughts after 2:

-Seems obvious that most of the camp invites are just going to be extra bodies. Komisarek looks a lot like Volchenkov. The game seems fast for Kaberle and Fedotenkio as well and it's only pre-season speed.

-Jordin Tootoo is played with a lot of edge and physicality. Barely touched Malone when he went flying, but he skates better than Bernier. Something to keep an eye on.

-Awful play by Dan Kelly on that PPG. Came over for no reason. Can't vacate the middle of the ice like that.

-I may have been wrong about Boucher. His decision making looks 1/2 a second faster than it was last year. Puck comes off his stick right away. Very impressive.

-Larsson looks afraid to shoot the puck. He's played well, has his head up with the puck, but he had a few chances to let it rip on the PP and didn't. Confidence needs to come.

-Clemmenson is an NHL goalie?

-Havlat can play if he's healthy for sure. You can see the speed and playmaking ability.

-Kinkaid looked a little nervous and jumpy at times, overreacting to the play in front of him, but also showed some good lateral agility and quickness on other plays.

I agree Larsson has looked great but that first period chance he had and passed across the ice was a bad decision and when you get oppertunities like that you get a puck on net but he does look good non the less

He had a couple of looks from the point as well where he tried the "Rafalski" deflect-able half speed shot. I would like to see him let it rip. Other than that he's looked good.

Henrique has won 9 out of 12 face offs tonight. Elias has lost 10 out of 15. I really hope we get a look at an Elias-Henrique-Havlat line this preseason. I don't understand why we insist on being one of the worst face off teams.

I thought Larsson, Gelinas, Boucher, Henrique, Elias, Havlat, Ryder, Severson and Tootoo had a good game. JJ did at some times, Matteau wasn't mentioned much. Zubrus looked bad.
