But TSN loves the leafs lol
- Yeti1181

They have him forecasted for more points than Nicushkin.
Totally off topic, but I wonder why Toni Rajala never really got a chance in north america. He did everything he was supposed to do in 2012/13....fought his way through the ECHL into the AHL and actually performed.
Then back to Sweden and the KHL. I know he's small, but even still....

The start of the NHL season brings out trolling more so than normal, I will be cracking down on it in the Leafs threads, our regular posters are sick of it and so am I.

Tread lightly or you will miss posting for a big chunk of the NHL season here, I will not only ban you but I will pursue any and all alt accounts as well.

But they really cant base anything off a short season.
Heck we were a playoff team last year if the season only lasted 48 games.

- Fakepartofme

yes i know.. my post was not serious in any way

..a 48 game season where they didnt play the west

Nonis has said many times they need to get back to playing like they did that season... so he can go with Orr

Nothing. They only spoke the truth. The Leafs are poop. 17th in the East this year. Then you and me can laugh in the knowledge that we knew all the time. We know better than them Fakepartofme. Both of us take pride in the poopness of this team.

I think we would've made the playoffs in the lockout shortened season if it had gone 82 games simply because it was a team that had no expectations on it, and actually had chemistry. Last year's team never really gave me that feeling....even when we were in the playoff spot. It just seemed that none of the new additions worked, and everyone who played great the seaosn before fell off the map.

Why? Why does it have to be real. Why not let Leafs fans talk amongst themselves, regardless of the tone or subject?
- walshyleafsfan

Because it's not always contained within the leaf thread. When stupid ideas start to leak all over HB a person needs to take responsibility and cap those ideas off at the source.

Stupid ideas have been hemorrhaging out of the leaf's thread for years.

2 on 1 doesn't seem very fair. I hope Colton faired out OK.

A very unclassy move by the Montreal players there.

Quite frankly, I'm very disappointed in them.

That was actually the year before, so you can't really make that statement.

I actually think having a few guys like Komarov, Orr, Mclaren, on roster, isn't that bad. They don't have to play every game. When you're playing an undersized team that can't take a hit (see Pacioretty/Chara), it can work. The Sens beat them down in the playoffs too. Small weak teams never succeed int he playoffs. Too easy to grind them down in a 7 game series.

Stop the bleeding!
We need to keep the stupid idea's in the leaf threads.....let other threads come up with their own.....Living off of Leaf resources.....just like the league!

Big teams loaded with plugs don't make the playoffs.

So I'm not too worried about Montreal facing Toronto in the playoffs anytime soon.

I love how it was "SO SHOCKING AND GUTLESS" that Orr turned around and punched him. I WONDER WHY HE DID THAT?!

No it was last year....Orr and Mclaren were useless.
Maybe play Mclaren once in a blue moon, but other than that....lets use the new faster guys.

Then can you not deal with it in the aforementioned threads, and stay away from the Leafs one?

To me, logistically, that would be your best bet.
