i can relate to that guy. It was a nice windup on his shot though. Nicer than I could manage.

I guess if I'm the gm of this team, and this season goes bad, I don't necessarily go full out rebuild, but I'm definitely looking to change the core. Its probably too soon to make that decision, but the meltdowns of the past three years definitely have me more open to making some big trades involving Kessel, Bozak, Phaneuf and whoever else.....
I'm talking Phil Kessel for Ryan Johansen types of "fantasy" trades and not straight up.

THe list of guys I'd consider untouchable would probably be only Bernier, Rielly, JVR.

I think the power behind his shot created some kind of vortex around his body. You can tell at the end of the video when he brakes it and skates to the bench

I'd listen offers on both of those guys if it collapsed again. I'm not a huge fan of either though so I'm being slightly biased.

Personally I think we look at moving Lupul regardless. He's not getting younger, we have space for some young guys to jump up and he's pretty selfish out there.

If the leafs aren't playing well/have a bad record come January, there is no reason to keep him.

He could bring in a good return from a team making a push and isn't worth the risk with his injury history for a team that is rebuilding.
