What I'm getting at is to try and discuss Morin as a player, and an individual. As an example, an opinion on Morin such as someone doesn't think he's going to handle the puck well enough, or have his offensive game develop well enough to become a true #1 NHL defenseman.

No right or wrong. But just talking about the players as individuals.

You've made yourself clear in that you grouped all of the Flyers defenseman into one big bowl and talked about probabilities of all of them reaching their potential. And that it's more likely that he becomes a 2 or a 3.

But other then offering suspect ratings from Hockey futures, nothing has been offered specifically about any of the players.

You are talking about something different than me. I'm not talking about Morin as a player right now. I'm talking about POTENTIAL and probability. Morin's got a great skill set for his age group and what not but I'm talking about the chances of how his future development will pan out.

I differentiated from grouping these prospects together many posts ago.

I hate them. I'm anti-black jerseys, because it generally leads to an entirely black kit, and I find that to be tedious.
- Jsaquella

i'm talking about the orange wc jerseys.

i like black if done right.

how does it work....do you have to log in and pay before you can watch?
- huks99

Yeah. You can watch online but I mostly just use my Roku at home. If you want to watch the Phantoms or Junior hockey... it's on there. They also toss in some pay per view MMA and Wrestling stuff for free. Most of the IIHF stuff is also available. They immediately archive all the games for the season.

I know that. I know I'm talking about something different that you are. We established that about 4 pages ago. I was simply trying to get your thoughts on the players as individuals, for simple discussion purposes.

You haven't differentiated from grouping the players together. Every post you've made has been based on what's more likely, or more probable. Instead of talking about the player individually, based on talent and ability. Because that is really what's going to determine how far a player makes it. Not probabilities. Otherwise the Flyers should have drafted Morin later, because he probably won't become a #1 defenseman.

And look, you obviously don't have to offer anything you don't want to. Your choice.

If you think that I'm saying probability plays any role in player development then you do not understand what I'm saying at all.

I thought the same thing. Some emails last year convinced me it's not happening soon. No one pays... they donate. The fact that they're on Roku, Andriod and iOS means that they aren't hiding on line or backdooring it.

So good, if probability doesn't play any role in player development, then why has it been the main focus of your posts? But that's neither here nor there.

I was simply looking to discuss the players individually. Based on the players own merits as a player. If you don't want to do that, that's fine. And we'll just move on.

My bad. If done right, black could be good. Unfortunately, black on black on black annoys me. If they did like the Bruins did, with a black jersey, black pants and orange socks, maybe

My posts weren't about ACTUAL development, but POTENTIAL. Probability is very relevant in future outcomes. It has nothing to do with how a player trains and such, it's merely getting an idea of what the player could become based on little information and historical occurrences. You were trying to discuss something else, not a variant of what I was discussing.

Round in circles here!

We've been through probabilities. I even agreed with you about 6 pages ago, that in all likelihood, probability speaking, all the Flyers defense prospects likely won't reach their full perceived potential! So we can stipulate that we are in agreement there! Plain and simple.

I'll put it as simply as possible. If you want to, your choice, I want to know what you think about Morin as a player specifically. Or Sanheim, or Ghostibehere. Or any of them!

I said I liked them all and I've agreed with what everyone has said about their skill sets but that's not what I was talking about. I was explaining to you what I was talking about but instead of understanding, you kept forcing a different point.

So I take it you don't want to talk about any of the players specifically. I wasn't forcing anything, I was trying to have a discussion away from probabilities to the players specifically. So moving on.

There's no such thing as a number 1 defenseman.
- mayorofangrytown

A lot of the guys we've had over the years have been number 2.
