Tallinder is a old version of Gunnarson. slower, older version of a soft guy.

why did they go and trade Gunnarson for Polak.

perhaps - just perhaps because they had enough softish left hand defensemen already.... so lets bring in another guy who's slowing down (brilliant) and can show the "young guys" how to slow down and take it easy?

Its pretty rare for a goalie to be a regular in the NHL at 20. Marlies is for sure a possibility. Maybe a few starts in the NHL.
