What's the deal with Kinkaid? i have buddies who are devs fans and they talked highly of him. Is he in the running to be the backup or is the plan to have him in the A with Clemmer as the backup?
- MeltingPlastic

He's had some solid seasons in the A so it sounds like he has a good chance to win the back up job. Clemmer certainly doesn't have that on lock that's for sure.

So is Stempniak a 3rd or 4th liner? Cant say I really know much about him. Also looks like Hayes and Miller will be battling for that last center spot, as far as what I have read.

Stempniak can play 3rd or 4th line and fill in in a top 6 role if there are injuries. Just a solid all-around player thats defensively responsible. Has a bit of a scoring touch too.

solid update : any winds blowing on the Carolina front ..is Eric #12 in camp & healthy? last mention was when he announced his ab injury ,NYR had inquired it was written as to his availability or more ..curious your thought s going into season w/1-2 punch or is it slap with Step & Brass ?
i think Nash is the one who benefits most from upgrade at middle or is it ?
like the off wing plan with Nash Zucc & Brass as wingmates as a back up
I also like Step-krieds -MSl as a unit too....
article written as Colo has top 6 fwds .... i see us up grade middle with #12
our top 6 is now Step krieds msl ..... E staal zucc nash
Ques : is E staals game & status much higher than Brassy upside as #2

I see a trade of our ft loaded contract of Brassy to Carolina for E staal
add D fense (moore ) or wing prospects to complete deal

conor allen can step in for Moore in a second...he is NHL ready

Cap hit is average yearly salary. Brassards hit is only 5 compared to staals 8.25.

Derek Stepan remains out day to day with bruised foot. Will not play tonight. #Habs still think he's faking.
